The media could not be loaded. Works great for mycology to mix liquid cultures or other organisms. Fun to play with on a spin plate. Definitely worth it over shaking the jars by hand and I think you get a better result. Good value for the money. Magnet is strong enough to spin thick LC.

Works as advertised, would buy again

I grow mushrooms and I start with injectable spores. I put on of these in each jar and I have an electron stir machine. Once a week, I put the jars on the machine and the magnetic stir bar stirs the spores in the jar. They work well and I use them each time I make a jar.

They are exactly what they supposed to be

I mean there little rods that spin, you really can't go wrong with them. Lol

Great product and will buy from again when I need more stir bars. I work in mycology and these are top notch with the exception of one I received that was cracked open. I don't think these crack easily so I'm guessing it left the factory like this. Still, 23/24 are perfect so well worth the money.

Magnetic, encapsulation still intact after many hours. Not much else to say other than I'd probably buy again if I need more.
