This package worked perfectly for my sons 2011 Nissan Altima ...
This package worked perfectly for my sons 2011 Nissan Altima. I followed the instructions from the questions area on this listing. We started with the car in the off position and the car doors closed. I wanted to be sure to start with the car in the off position and was a little concerned because I tuned on the car to roll the windows down and then turned the car off. Even though the car was off there was still power to the windows. I had to wait a little while before there was a audible click and the car was surely off. (the windows could no longer be operated). While following the instructions; step 2 said the programmer would beep twice, mine only beeped once, I continued on anyway. In the instructions number 6 says to push button to put the car in the ON position and remove the key, then step 7 says to push the button to put the car in the ON position again, that's because removing the key in step 6 turns the car off.The process worked for us the first time we tried it.I took the physical key (the one inside the fob) to Walmart and they copied it free of charge. You can also watch the programming process on YouTube, just search "Nissan Key Fob Programming"

Worked as advertised - tricky to program 2 blanks
I used it for 2012 Altima. Read reviews and watched the video on YouTube, printed the directions and "rehearsed" it before doing it for real. I needed to push the "Start" button on the car twice for the first step to get it to the "On" position. Car is new to me and I didn't know that 1 press just gets it to the ACC state.I went through the process for the first "blank" FOB that came with the APDTY 00260 ODB kit Item B01DDRBMKI. After going through the posted steps, the original FOB and the new FOB worked perfect. With no other instructions, I repeated the process for the other blank FOB that I purchased. Item B015WPM7NU. After this, the second FOB and the Original FOB worked perfect, but the first newly programmed FOB no longer worked.I guessed that all 3 needed to be included in the same process in order for all of them to work. I tried again and started with my orginal FOB, then inserted a new FOB in step 7, then after step 8, I went back to step 7 and inserted the other new FOB and then finished the process. All 3 FOBs work great. Home Depot had a machine that recognized the original KEY and the cut the other two blanks for me for free. Here are the steps that worked for me.2009-2014 Nissan Prox Programming1. Insert an already programmed PROX remote into the key slot located to the left of the steering column. Push the start/stop button to the ON position.2. Insert programmer into OBD/DLC port located under steering column, near pedals. Programmer will BEEP twice.3. Wait 10 seconds. Push start/stop button to the OFF position. BEEP once.4. Wait 10 seconds. Push start/stop button to the ON position. Programmer will BEEP twice.5. Wait 10 seconds. Push start/stop button to the OFF position. Programmer will BEEP 3 times.6. Wait 10 seconds. Push start/stop button to the ON position. The red car light above the mileage will flash 5 times.7. Remove PROX remote and insert the next to be programmed. Push start/stop button to the ON position. The red car light above the mileage will flash 5 times.8. Push start/stop button to the OFF position.[***IF PROGRAMMING A SECOND "BLANK" FOB GO BACK TO STEP 7 FROM HERE***]9. Push start/stop button to the ON position.10. Push start/stop button to the OFF position.11. Depress the brake pedal. Push start/stop button to the ON position and start the vehicle.12 Turn vehicle OFF and remove the programmer.13. Test the lock and unlock buttons on each remote programmed. If programming has failed restart the instructions from the beginning.

WARNING!!! SAFETY HAZARD & POTENTIALLY DAMAGING ITEM
Positive reviews must not be genuine. Read negative reviews before destroying your car and your day. This does not deserve a one star!!! It should be pulled from Amazon. I am not against foreign made products. I feel there are many well made products from all areas of the world. This one is not a quality product and the poor packaging will be your first clue. It comes in a cheap ziplock style bag without and documentation or instructions. To make sure zero errors occurred this was used with a second person to time the intervals and ensure nothing was rushed or missed. It beeped and seemed like all was well. Then boom!!!! The ignition system stopped working and original key was wiped from the vehicle memory. We could not move forward with the process because the system shut us out completely! This means when you press start nothing happens. You can no longer use any function of the original key. Car is dead.Warning! This could be an electrical safety hazard and using this product could cost you 100x more than the cost of this key.Amazon should ban this product immediately!! It has no UL or other electrical safety certifications displayed with or on this electrical device. Most likely because it does not have any!The seller also appears to be breaking US customs law by illegally removing and displaying the county of origin!I am disappointed that Amazon is allowing unsafe and potentially illegally sold items to be sold on thier site.Ultimately in the end this purchase cost me far more than what a key would have cost from the dealership and it also has taken up my time with a car that no longer starts with any key. There is no way to drive a car that just had the keyless system toasted by a terrible product.DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! You have been warned!!!
