Very expensive and you have to use more than regular sugar

Stevia tablets don't always dissolve so well in hot drinks. I prefer granulated. The formulations between tablets and granulated are different. The granulated stevia is bulked out with erythritol, a plant alcohol in the family with xylitol etc. The taste is of sweet nothingness - with a slight cooling effect if directly eaten (as with xylitol) This product has very fine grains - more like caster sugar in size. The big 1kg bag will last some time as a drinks sweetener and with a double seal will keep for ages - the best before date was 15 months after I opened the pack. You can use just as you would with sugar theoretically, but I need less. I'm not brave enough to bake with it though...

I have been using Stevia sweetener for some tine now.I started using it to cut down on my sugar intake as part of a weight loss diet, and just continued.My wife uses it in tea and coffee and reports that the flavour is fine, so no issues there.I use it mainly in cooking sweets and desserts.I find it just as enjoyable in cakes and sweet pastries as regular sugar ever was.The large bags are good value, but I tend to transfer the contents to an airtight container rather than relying on the ziploc type top closer.If you tip the contents out into a bowl, you often find bits of it trapped in the closure and you end up fiddling with it.Far easier to spoon or tip it out of a plastic box.It’s plant based too if that’s important - though all sugars are I think?

This sweetener has just the right balance of natural sweet flavour from the stevia plant, With a touch of erythritol to make it work well with both hot or cold food and drinks. This is ideal for me, As i am watching my weight but have battled with my sweet tooth and need that taste of sweetness if i can't get an actual sugar fix.The blend of the 2 components means that it works on baking, Hot drinks and cold smoothies, And is a good all round sugar alternative. The price is pretty decent, As i have seen other sweeteners that have been way overpriced for what it is. Overall, This offers good value for money and hits the spot for ex sugar lovers.

Although this stevia sweetener doesn't have the same texture and taste of conventional sugar, I managed to get used to it very quickly. Now it is my go to sweetener as I prefer it over the conventional one. I feel less guilty that I am using sugar now since stevia is a healthier option.It goes nicely with all sorts of drinks and also for baking and the more we get used to it the more we realise that it is sweeter than the actual sugar.At the time of this review !kg of this costs £7.52 which I find very acceptable especially for small families that don't use a lot of sugar.

I really liked this was expecting it to taste super gross like artifical sweetners but it is lovely and works well for baking or in hot drinks/cereal.Unlike xylitol it doesnt seem to have such a laxative effect and it is safe to use around pets as isnt toxic to them (you still shouldnt give it to them )Currently £14.99 for 1kg which is great value as this bag is going to last ages
