Monocular Max 300x Zoom C-Mount Glass Lens Adapter F/Industry Digital Microscope Camera Objective

This lens is not a toy. It is a very professionally made piece of equipment. There was an issue with the billing but it was resolved quickly and accurately. The thread on the Lens is a 42.5 x .7 which is kind of an odd ball. We needed a polarizing filter to be fitted to the end of the .7x lens. We are going to attempt to attach a 43.1 x .7 filter onto the end. We may have to glue it on. I could not locate a 42.5 x .7 polarizing filter anywhere. An adapter to 42mm x.7 or 43mm x .7 to 42.5mm x .7 would be great. The equipment and quality are great and customer service quickly took care of the error we had.

Ordered this product on amazon.com to ship to Canada, lens and camera arrived within 2 working days. Both camera and lens from same seller were in tip top shape. I can't speak of the lens without mentioning the camera. The clarity of the 300x lens and 16MP Hayear camera combo are excellent with no distortion, or barrelling edge artifacts, and great color with proper LED lighting.

Poor optics, ultra shallow depth of field, Focus ring is loose. Very dark picture even with doughnut light.

High Quality Metal construction with glass lens.

Individual lenses seem to work well, but tolerance between lenses is terrible. I order 2 lenses in a single order for a dual-camera inspection system. The lenses have such drastically different working distances (bottom of lens to sample) that I cannot use them together. The photos show that when both lenses are at the same zoom and in focus, there is more than 1" of vertical difference in the lens position. For this reason, you can't assume a replacement lens will work in the same setup.Also, the lens tubes are slightly different diameter on the knurled part. One tube fit into my 50mm ring mount, the other did not and required a custom mount.

Seems to work but once again you are left in the dark on use of software and product since hayear is non existent in customer service.
