This product empty is very lightweight, holds 2.5 gallons of water. Each gallon of water weighs 8 pounds, so once full, this container weighs about 20 pounds. A significant amount of water to support in such a light weight container so not surprising that eventually the seams will give out.We have a water ionizer and use these containers to house ionized drinking water in our refrigerator. The manufacturer is very nice and has sent free replacement water nozzles when they have on occasion leaked and also gave us the ability to order extra nozzles at a reasonable cost to have on hand.Our only complaint is we wish there was someway to make these containers a little sturdier so that they would last longer than they do. The good news is that when they do leak while they create a small puddle in our refrigerator they have never leaked to the extent that water permeated everything so the mess was contained. Still these are the best available until someone comes up with a better design. We have been using these containers year round for the past 10 years so for the most part they work fairly well.Amazon was very accommodating when we once experienced a breach in the seam less than 6 months later and replaced them for free. Thank you Amazon for the excellent customer service.

We are so pleased with this. We go through a little more than 2 gallons of water a day (this is a 2.5 gallon container). Before, we were filling up 2 large pitchers with water (filtered from our Culligan faucet filter) and putting them in the refrigerator because we like nice cold water. This slimline container makes refilling the water much easier for me. For one, I only fill it up once a day (before I go to bed). When I refill it, I do not take the slimline container out of the refrigerator. I use my old water pitcher, fill the water up at my faucet and then pour the water into the slimline container (which again, stays inside the refrigerator). I think that will help keep down the wear and tear on the slimline container by not moving it too much. We did have to initially adjust the spout because it leaked at first. I think most people having a problem with leaks need to tighten the spout better and make sure the collar ring and the spout piece align. Also, every morning, I unscrew the top cover all the way. Just enough so that a little air can get in to make the water flow stronger. The only other thing I would mention is that you need to make sure that it isn't hanging over your shelf too far out because it can cause your refrigerator to not shut all the way. We hang it just far enough to get a rim underneath and I think I even had to adjust the shelf height at first because it was hitting something on our door.Lastly, I love this slimline container because we drink a lot of water, my younger children can easily get water for themselves and I was tired of laboring over my kitchen faucet, filling our old water pitchers ALL DAY LONG. So now I can just sit around and sip nice cold water and watch the clouds roll by.

My first container was missing the spigot, therefore the 4 rating. The new one was received in less than a week with no issue from Amazon and works as advertised. Good product.

This pitcher/water dispenser fits perfectly in my fridge top shelf. I no longer have a fridge with a water dispenser so this is a good compromise to always have cold water on tap.The plastic is decent but probably will get damaged if dropped, so it will need some care.The dispenser doesn't leak while its completely full. One thing to note is that the top cap has to be semi-open to let air in so that water can flow out at a decent rate.

This 3 gallon water container leaks. MAJOR LEAKS. Opened the box, checked the container and seals. Filled with water to check for leaks....and, within two minutes the floor and counter top was covered with water. Inspected the container to find the leak and you can see the water running out of the container and air bubbles going in. Rechecked all the seals and they were OK. I also have four two gallon water containers by the same company and none of them has ever leaked (unless you drop the container and then it breaks). The plastic used on all those containers are extremely thin and you must be extremely careful. The 2 gallon ones are not bad. I use them for water in my RV trailer for drinking.Ordered another brand of water container: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CWLKM9M1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 This other one is much stronger plastic and will not break. It does not leak, has an air vent, and CHEAPER that the other product I returned. I would recommend the replacement water container!

The compact, slim size of this water dispenser is perfect for fridges with limited shelf space and especially with no ice maker. The container is made of good quality BPA free clear plastic and the nozzle does not leak. Container can also be laid flat on its side if fridge shelves don't have enough height - you just remove it from fridge to dispense water.

Es un buen producto. No esperaba algo super excepcional, pero es muy buen producto. El plástico si es bueno aunque se siente un poco delgado. Cumple perfectamente su función. Caben poco mas de 11 litros, no son exactamente los 3 galones, pero en general es una buen producto por el precio que se paga por él.

Good item. Needs to be handled carefully though.
