I have installed numerous wiring harnesses and wrapped them with all types of products from electrical tape to the plastic tubing. I purchased this product to give a more vintage look, and it worked perfectly.First thing to remember is that this is not really a tape, the adhesive on it is made to stick to itself, which it does very well. Once you wrap your harness, this product is difficult to remove.However if you are looking for a vintage or unique look for your wiring job, this will fit your needs.

Good stuff - even if it's note for your car
I bought this tape to use for other things than in my car. It might be overkill but I needed a cloth tape with good adhesion, that was easy to use and was not sticky to the touch once I used it. So far, it met all those needs...and I have plenty left for other projects.
