High quality vinyl of an old favourite.
If you like the album/Ultravox, then very much worth the outlay. If not, unlikely you will be bothering to read this. I still have my autographed copies from a signing at HMV Oxford Street in 1984, but this heavyweight 2 disc version is superior sound wise; the bonus disc has the best version of One Small Day I have heard on vinyl. The outer sleeve is a very close reproduction of the original screen printed limited edition sleeve.

Lament LP rereleased
Not sure on this Vinyl release from Ultravox, wish I’d stuck with cd version. Sound wise not much Bass but plenty of thin midrange . Musical content is ok Lament is atmospheric track almost ambient. Dancing with Tears in my Eyes is a good pop song I think Ultravox were running out of steam at this point. Heart of the Country is probably best track for me. I think musically it’s ok but sonically a bit thin sound wise the CD had more muscle on its 1984 release!

Ultravox - Lament [VINYL]
Bought to replace my original that 'went astray'. As far as I can recall it sounds the same so no problems. A nice new decent copy for a change instead of those 'brick walled' compressed issues.

Classic album on vinyl
Classic album well produced on vinyl, but no extras ie booklet.

Brilliant album which sounds excellent.
The album production notes mention that the original master tape was used as the source for this record and it shows in the sound quality. Fantastic to have this back in my vinyl collection again, sounds superb.Worth buying for the bonus version of One Small Day (US Edit) alone, it really is the best mix of this track that I have heard.
