I bought this to hold my iPad Pro for jams and rehearsal. Sturdy. If you extend it fully it gets slightly shaky with the 12” Pro, but as it extends quite a lot at full, I really never need it to be that tall. You can adjust the width of the legs to increase stability. It’s easy to install the iPad, and it’s secure. The device holder has an adjustable tilt. The gooseneck comes in handy too - I just used it yesterday to record a table-top demo, which I’ve been wanting for teaching, so - twofer. With the heavy Pro, it will tip with the gooseneck bent for table top demos, but as it had to butt up against the table I was using, this solved the problem on its own. It breaks down and sets up beautifully - easy, quick. It comes with a cheap drawstring bag that nonetheless works just fine. It breaks down short enough to carry in a canvas tote bag with my other jam accessories. Great purchase for my needs. If this is something you are going to use a lot, give the cheaper model by the same company a miss, especially if you are using this for an iPad Pro - it doesn’t fit it, and otherwise the break down/set up isn’t as easy or compact. I was trying to go cheaper, but I had to return it and pony up the extra 20-25 for this one. Glad I did.

Lightweight yet sturdy. Use it when playing sheet music on the iPad. Easy to carry and set up. Legs can be widened to take into account wind when playing outside. The ball at the top works well if you slacken it off before you move the iPad otherwise you can score the ball and the eventually the ball becomes useless and you will have to buy another stand.We also use the stand with either a cell phone or an iPad for video calls - works really My wife and I both have one when we play music at a music jam. I am still looking for a stand that would hold an iPad and a microphone. I don’t want anything clamped on

I bought this stand to gig/busk with. I'm a professional guitar player and I purchased a Kindle Fire and a foot pedal page turner. This stand is amazing. It's well made, it's lightweight, but it comes with a cheaply made carry bag. Nevertheless, all the parts work well and fit securely without damaging the device. It's also not too heavy and hasn't tipped on me yet. It was definitely manufactured to fix some problems with other stands and it was a great buy.

I’ve had a BUTTLOAD of iPad Stands, and they have ALL since gone to the Trash, but THIS BABY, ohhhhhh BOY, the “Broke the Mold” when they made this one! STURDY? OMG, a Hurricane is not gonna blow this sucker down! Lightweight yet VERY STRONG, Sturdy, and VERSATILE!!! I use an iPad stand a LOT, and it’s GOTTA be “Rock Solid” and Stand up to the Rigors I put it thru! 1) I use it to go outside and continue to watch my movie I started in the house so I can Smoke, so it goes in and out all night long LOL, (I smoke a lot lol) , I also fly a Variety of “DRONES” so I take it out in the Field with me, to control/Monitor my Drone Footage!
