Ethernet Cable

I really just needed a quickly shipped, simple ethernet cable for a non-critical application, went on Amazon, bought the cheapest short cable that I could find. Imagine my surprise when the cable arrived and is clearly one of the best quality cables that I own! Connectors are super sturdy, cable is thick and well shielded, and even came with free velcro ties. Link speeds are exactly in spec. Will definitely be purchasing more cables from this shop to replace my older fraying cables! Don't bother going to Best Buy or buying brand names, these cables are top notch at a fraction of the price.

The media could not be loaded. I am using this short CAT8 cord to connect a Raspberry Pi to a router, and as you can see form the video, the Pi received a signal just fine and the wore works as intended. The quality of the item is very good, too. The wire is thick and the connectors are very well made. Also included are small plastic protectors that snap over the connectors that are very nice and can be used when storing them away to prevent the tabs from breaking off of the connectors from getting caught on other wires. Very impressive item, I'm planning to buy longer cords of the same type from this sell for other uses in my home.

I bought this cable in hopes it would help boost my internet speeds. It sure does, too! Since I connected my router to my modem with this cable, my speeds rose and became more stable. I especially liked how I could buy a short cord (see photo) so there wasn’t any leftover cord to coil, wrap, etc. The cable is well-built, durable and sturdy, and was a steal at this price.

This wire doubled internet speed of our wireless mesh system which had previously been on an old Cat 5 wire that was 10+ years old. The cable makes a difference! I ordered another one to connect from the modem to the router to replace the one the cable company gave us which looks really cheap. This one looks this much thicker and I would assume better shielded although I didn’t cut it to check.

I needed a new patch cord that was much smaller in length. Went with this 1 1/2 foot patch cord, very solid construction, locked in tight and very pleased with the performance. Cat8 is a must buy now days.

I bought this ethernet cable because it was an Amazon offer. Although, I didnt want a large cable because I just wanted this for my Steam link and also because I like to have a really good cable management, and I could say the quality is better than expected and has a good performance for my remote playing, so I could say that it could do an excellent job for any other purpouse. I highly recommend it.

I thought I saw somebody complain about the protective cap that is on the two connectors on this cable. I LOVE it! In fact I have saved it as a tool. (If ever I have to snake a cable through dusty dry wall in my house, I plan to use it to protect the connector so I don't have to clean the pins!) The complaint was it was hard to remove - I thought it was intuitive - pinch the tab and it releases!The cable seems well built and seem to seat well in the RJ45 female. My continuity tester said it was - of course, that is a bare necessity! So far, so good! I am replacing my Cat6 and Cat7 cables and hoping it will make a difference!
