The Super Da Bird w/Handle consists of a SINGLE 36" pole, Wood Handle (add-on by CoolCyberCats) and Guinea Feather Super Refill. The Super Da Bird has the same pole as the original Da Birds, but the original Guinea Feather attachment has been replaced with the Da Bird Super Bird Guinea Feather attachment (there is not an extra refill in the package) and a wood handle (6.5 x 3/4 inches) attached to the pole. What is the difference? The original Guinea attachment has 2 main Guinea feathers, the Super Bird attachment has 3. The extra feather gives a better spin and has more surface area for the cats to enjoy, plus these are not dye colored turkey feathers, but natural colored Guinea feathers. great toy for two corgis!
as strange as it may seem but I bought this toy for my two dogs (corgis). I noticed they love chasing flying things when a fly got into my house. They were both running left and right jumping up and down trying to catch the fly (and they eventually did and let's not mention what happened to the fly) So I thought hey maybe a cat teaser would be fun for them. I have purchased this before except it's the two piece pole. It worked great for a while but dogs are much stronger than cats and they tend to pull the pole apart when they do manage to catch the "bird". The pole itself is very flexible and strong so this time I bought the single pole and it's much better now! Their pupils would dilate when they see me reach for this toy and after I get tired (yes they would not stop chasing it until I was tired swinging this very light pole!) and puts the pole back they would both sit and stare at it and looks at me asking for more! This is by far their favorite toy!

Get the handle!
Da Bird is my cats' favorite toy, so I always gift it to new cat parents. The handle on the super version is AMAZING and I'm quite jealous. I get hand fatigue with my old one and my cats sometimes rip the whole toy out of my hand - not with the handle! I think I'm going to have to donate my old one to the shelter (with a new bird, of course) and get a handle version for me.

Baxter the master bird hunter at your service!
My cat is an indoor kitty and sometimes goes a little stir crazy but when we play with this toy, he becomes covert master hunter kitty! It has a great reach and I can engage him throughout the entire living room, from the top of his cat tree and everywhere! I am on my second set of feathers and still going strong.

Even my boring cat loves this thing!
My cats love this thing! We have gone through a ton of these "Da Bird" toys, the weak link is always the string. The addition of the wooden handle is great, I cemented it in with epoxy and it makes the wand much more comfortable and easier to use. The wand and handle are not assembled when you get the package. The included instructions tell you to push then screw the handle on. That seems to work moderately well but does not make a very solid connection and will come off as you play with your cats, you are going to want to glue or epoxy the handle on.

Drives our Maine Coon WILD
This is by far our cat's favorite toy. We had the regular Da Bird until she wore it out. This one has an upgraded handle, which is nice for the user. Our cat does amazing arial leaps and will play with Da Bird until she's exhausted and panting. So fun for us and great exercise for her, being an indoor cat.
