Worked great to replace clogged old filter
I have a self propelled John Deere mower and these were the right filters . Took out one that was completely clogged . Now my old John Deere is breathing fresh air again! Hopefully good for another 10 years

Not enough air flow for mower to run
I installed this filter in my John Deere 14PZ lawnmower. Unfortunately, the mower would not start after I installed this filter (with or without the pre-filter). I then took the filter out and was able to start the mower with no problem. While the mower was running, I re-installed the filter, and the mower stopped. I tried this twice with the same results both times. I put the old filter back in and the mower ran fine.
