Q: Does this work on the Audio Technica AT2020

NO! Do not rely on that, I tried, but it did NOT fit AT2020.

Q: Can this fit the at 4040?

I would imagine it would fit on the shaft but due to weight of the 4040 that the shock mount would be a better fit.

Q: What is the measurement of the circle at the bottom? I am wondering if it will work with my mic. Thanks!

These are designed to work with Marshall(MXL)mics It may fit others but it's not a generic universal adapter. But is universal for MXL
