Different and not as good as the original, but still a very good game despite it's flaws.
This game is a spin-off of the original Chibi-Robo on the GameCube. It does not play anything like it. Instead, you go around restoring a park by planting flowers. You use the touch screen to use all of your items and drive your vehicles(yes, this game has vehicles you can drive around in), and this is why I can't give the game 5 stars. You see, most of the touch controls are very necessary and just....bad. For example, you will be using the squirter ALLOT to water flowers, and instead of pressing a button to use it, you have to slide your stylus up the touch screen. You get use to it, but it is still annoying, especially since it takes 2 or 3 sprays for each flower to grow. Still, that isn't near as bad as the driving controls. You aren't going to believe how the developers could possibly do something so stupid. You hold up on the d-pad for the gas and down for the brake, but to turn you use the touch screen......Yeah, it's god awful. There is a steering wheel on the touch screen, and you have to do a circular motion to steer left of right, but often times your stylus ends up out of position(like in the middle of the steering wheel) and you end up running into walls. So you pretty much have to be watching and concentrating on both screens at the same time, and that's not easy to do. Same problems for the bicycle, except for that you turn using the D-pad and have to constantly make circles on the touch screen to peddle. All that said, if you can look past some of the controls(not all of them are bad) it is a very good game. I won't go into detail on the gameplay except for the little I said about it at the beginning, but you can read a review on GameFAQ's if you want more details. It is very fun. However, the games world is very, very small with extremely little to explore. Once you beat the game and play around with it's post game extras, there is no reason to play it again, and you very likely won't until years later. For this reason, I don't recommend buying it unless you can get it for cheap. Luckily, you can get it for less then $10(not counting shipping) here on Amazon, and you may be able to get it even cheaper on ebay. I wouldn't spend over $12 for it.

The game is here and works, the cover on the box is fake.
The game is great, the box on the other hand, if your trying to collect it, the image is printed and not the correct size to fit the box and has white edges from poor cutting, lastly it doesn't have the only at Walmart flower all of the us copies had, the description never said the box was original so that why I'm still giving it 4 stars but consider.

the game plays great, and works perfectly
This was an exciting buy, as I'm a huge fan of Chibi Robo! My only gripe is that the seller put a grey sticker over a part of the cover art, and in trying to take off the sticker, it slightly ripped the cover art for the case, but it's really only a minor issue. However, the game plays great, and works perfectly!

Cutest Robot in Existence!
Anyone who likes a cute and light game would be best served to give this a try. Chibi Robo Park Patrol is very cute, but not sickeningly so. A great game for kids, with the right taste of action and adventure. I love the plot and the game play style is easy enough to adapt to, though not that similar to the previous Chibi Robo Game (Chibi Robo Plug into Adventure). I'd definitely buy this again if I lost my copy!

Very addicting game
I found this game very hard to put down due to it's unique and fun gameplay, characters, music, setting, enemies, etc. Basically you are Chibi Robo, a robot designed to help the local park that is run down. The gameplay is similar to the first Chibi Robo game on the Gamecube. You do various tasks like making flowers bloom, fixing bridges, finding friends, etc. For those looking for a truly unique experience in gaming I recommend this game

While my copy was very sun damaged for the case the game worked just fine. It's a very fun game that you can easily sink a few hours into.

Grandson and Grandmother love it
This product was purchased for a birthday present for a grandson. He has been playing his grandmother's version and now he will have his own for his handheld. I watch while they play and it seems very entertaining without blood, guts, and gore. The concept of a robot going around and accomplishing tasks in the house is very clever.

Chibi Robo fans rejoice! the Mini Robot is back!
I have been a long time fan of the Chibi Robo series, and although not as good as the first game on the Game Cube or the AMAZING Japan-only release "Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Oosouji" game, it is a very strong tie for 2nd place in my book! it retains much of the free-roaming of the 1st game, but also adds in some more resource management mechanics and some other improvements on existing mechanics. The main objective of the game is to clean up and maintain the city park that has been left in disrepair, and use your various tools to build new attractions, and generally keep the park from becoming a complete dump.A must have for any Chibi Robo fan!
