Bored enough?
Lockdown has driven us all through all the good stuff on streaming sites, then we have to sort through all the barely watchable stuff for something that won't make us hate the waste of our lives during watching it. This just about passes muster. If you took writers who usually create the weird and unrealistic 'plot' at the start of a cheesy porno to explain why the cheerleader needed the mechanic, and then added beavis and butthead fnuh-fnuh-fnuh style jokes, then added all the cliches that don't make sense in normal cheesy vampire movies, and gave them the chance to make a film on a college campus using no special effects...you'd get something like this. It's camp enough to be funny in parts with the limp-fang jokes and plays on the cliche of vampire cliches, you might laugh a bit. As a female you might also wonder whether the ridiculous chauvanistic thinking with the organ below the belt sexist attitude of all the male characters might actually be exactly how men behave in frat houses and that a lot of this isn't even a parody

Surprisingly good
Like most free to watch films on Prime, I had pretty much zero expectations of this one. But the humour, while pretty puerile at times, was also kind of understated and used sparingly enough to not outstay its welcome. Good cast to be able to pull it off.

Vamp U too.
I bought this for a friend who liked this movie. I was concerned that it would not play in the dvd player as it might be a U.S format, but it worked perfectly.

VAMPING LIKE ITS 1399
I apologize. I liked a dumb 2 star film like a 4 star production. Wayne Gretzky (Adam Johnson) is a vampire who accidentally killed Mary (Julie Gonzalo) the love of his life in 1711. For 300 years his fangs have become limp as he feeds off animal blood and confides his troubles to Dr. Arthur Levine (Gary Cole). Dr. G known as "The Great One" is a history professor who teaches history as if he was there...and he was.As it turns out Mary didn't die, she just became Amish. Her daughter, who could pass for her twin (also played by Julie Gonzalo) , seduces Dr. G. leading to a vampire creating and killing free for all.The humor was pun filled, something I could sink my teeth into. Adam Johnson came across like a cross between Paul Giamatti and Zack Garifalakis. The one classroom scene of an excited student was reminiscent of one in "Back to School" however Tom (Matt Mattson) made me laugh. He is a member of the STD fraternity and vampire blogger.Parental Guide: No f-bombs, sex or nudity. Implied sex. Bleeped out F-bomb. Implied nudity from the back.
