App for configuration was not users friendly and do not work with Google Pixel Phone
Access point looks good but configuring it is difficult, I have to try with 3 different Phone and Tablet to get is configured and after spending few hours found that there is only 1 SSID for 2.4Ghz and no 5Ghz, contact CISCO support and did not get a direct answer on how to configure the device. Documentation on the device is poorly explained. CISCO business app on Android shows 2.4 and 5 Ghz radio but when testing out with Notebook, desktop and Android Phone shows only 2.4Ghz. I had learned an lengthy lesson to get this CISCO device. If purchasing such a low price device need to engage an expert to install I might well go for an high end AP. Most AP after configuration if successful will show up 2 SSID for 2.4 and 5 Ghz and all devices will automatically logon to the strongest best signal.

Fantastically reliable - and that's what matters
I have lots (40+) of devices on my WiFi network - mostly home made IOT home automation ESP32 devices. Previously, I've struggled with extremely unreliable WiFi. I've tried dual WAPs by TP-Link and WavLink but it wasn't until I purchased this fantastic Cisco router that my WiFi issues were finally solved!it seems that most home grade WAPs and routers only support a very small (<8) number of WiFi devices connected to them at one time. Any more and you get random dropouts. But this Cisco router is a breathe of fresh air! It just works! There is one possible negative to mention - it takes about 6 minutes to boot up and start operating. But this will ONLY happen after a power down. Unlike other routers, it doesn't randomly reset. It just works. I've had mine up and running continuously for literally three months without any problem what so ever - no drop outs - no resets - no devices randomly being kicked off the network. Brilliant!

Cheap In Wall AP with some LAN ports that can be configured (Cisco 145AC 802.11ac)
It does help if you read the instructions for setting up. As a techie I typically didn't till I had issues, lol. I bought one to test with a view to replace the Unifi APs I have had at home for over 3 years and as I do not use any other Unifi products I'm not really going to be missing out on anything. One port can passthrough power so am going to use that to power the IP phone in a bedroom. One AP gets nominated as a master and you configure the settings on that. I've ordered another one so will report back on how adding that goes.I cannot seem to find any documentation that show the radio pattern to work out best placement which is kind of annoying. If you enable Application monitoring it can identify traffic and identify high data usage.

Setup doesn't seem to like VLANs
I've two of these and three of the 240 model and I love them, the have some nice useful features. However setting them up was a pain, after much head scratching I managed it. I had to do it on a LAN without any VLANs configured no idea why as the work fine with the VLANs after the initial setup. That includes mapping SSIDs to VLANs to isolate them.

Perfect
Any average network person can easy install, configure and maintain. The AP is perfect for small-medium 2 floor house. You can separate main, guest and IoT wifi networks with vlans (with switch), have nice GUI and easy to operate with, if you are not console person. Lots of features. With app for 0 day config.

Cisco, king of the networks
I run my own business from home for more than a year now. As my business is internet dependent, I definitely needed something more reliable for my home WIFI network, which would cover the whole house and would offers me a secure connection as this two is must for my me. I’ve setup this Cisco Business 140AC and it seems really nice so far. Cisco is worldwide leader company for secure networks. Comes with mounting bracket, ceiling rail mount clip and Cat5 Ethernet Cable which I’ve had to replace with a longer cable and with cat 6. The setup was easy and I’m an IT specialist. A small instruction booklet is also provided which only shows you how to mount the access point onto the wall or ceiling, the best and easiest way to configure your network is to download the Cisco Business mobile app. This access point has an amazingly long range. I originally set it up in the middle of the house, and to my surprise, it covers nearly all my house with no reduction of speed. The App allow you to setup wireless networks name and password, as well as choose which wireless frequencies you want the network to operate on (2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz) you can set up some restrictions, allows you to setup usage limits for each service category and also completely block specific domain let you track visitors to your building, even when they don’t actually connect to your network, you can also setup any of the networks as a guest network which is a great feature if you looking to buy for your business.I’m happy with this Wireless Access point, I haven't had any issues with it so far. I'm sure that this would be very nice to use in a business but given its performance and that it doesn't require a paid subscription to use, it would work very well for home use like for me.
