Just follow instruction, I have a chamberlain garage opener with purple color and Liftmaster gate with yellow color. The chamberlain I followed instructions and at end I just click the purple button and synced easily with the Liftmaster I had to click the yellow button and will is blinking I followed instructions for remote and no problem.On remote Press and hold 2&3 then click for color code on instruction manual and then press and hold button till light goes out. Actually works the same or better than my original Liftmaster remote does not allow functions like this new one does, this remote actually when press once opens if you press twice stops gate in place and if you pre a 3rd time closes the gate. Great product I like so much I purchased twice !!!

I set these up to work for 3 doors on 3 different buildings.Two were Genie, one was Sears.They work great.Instructions were a little complex, but once I understood how to do it, it was easy.First put the remote into learn mode by holding the two small buttons until the led flashes.Then push the remote button you are programming the right number of times (see included directions).Then push the opener's learn button.Then push and hold the the remote button until the opener led flashes.That worked for me. YMMV.

These work just as good as the more expensive oem remotes. I saved quite a few dollars and am satisfied with their construction and operation. I recommend these if you need replacement remotes.

We used 1 of them at first and it worked well. It synced fast and acted like a brand purchased liftmaster remote. Less than a year in it stopped working. Light worked but it stopped opening and syncing. When I opened it up and applied pressure to the battery area it synced. It was detached at a side. We went to use the other one since it was a replacement opener for us and both sides of the battery connecter were disconnected. The batteries were new and we tried changing them to make sure they weren’t the problem. Cheap quality. If you want something that will last you longer search for a liftmaster branded opener.

I guess many of the garage doors and gates that this controller would work with are color-coded so you know what frequency to use. Mine did not seem to have any color coding on the “program” button, so I had to cycle through all the possible frequencies until I found the right one by chance. That wasn’t such a big deal, maybe five or 10 minutes. Seems to work like the original one once it’s programmed.

for the cost they are great. programming is not that easy and took many times to get working. They also don't open the door as quickly as the factory supplied ones. there is a couple second delay before the door starts to open which can cause you to push it a second time while waiting causing the door to reverse also at a delayed time. Once you know about this delay and get used to them all is fine. With that in mind, they are a bargain compared to the cost of name brand. I would buy them again.
