Q: Expiration date for this product?

I can almost promise the de-icer will be gone long before any expiration date. It goes quickly and may ultimately not be worth waiting for it to arrive by mail. It’s no better, or worse, than a product you can find in stores near you.

Q: Is this product safe to remove ice buildup on food freezers?

Depends on where the ice is and how much cleaning you want to do after using it. If the buildup is in the coils I wouldn’t use it. If it’s in a main compartment you could use it but you’d have to thoroughly clean it afterward. This stuff certainly isn’t food contact safe. Defrosting with a heat gun/blow drier is a far safer option imo.
