I have this in the kitchen so I can listen to music or a podcast when cooking or washing up. My phone, even on max volume, is too quiet when something is frying or boiling. But this product is nice and loud. If anything, too much bass - I reduced the bass levels twice.I use it for timers when cooking. I like that it's hands-free/voice-activated, so I don't have to keep drying/washing my hands touching my phone.We configured ours to wake on the word "computer" instead of "alexa" because I like star trek lol

The magnetic stickers are a bit surplus to requirement. They're not much of a necessity, well, at least not for me. Perhaps if someone had a cat or a dog that knocks things over it might be useful.

Bought this to replace my google mini. The Echo dot is brillant and easy to set up. I would recommend the Echo dot 4th generation.
