Q: I am assuming that each 3-gang is a single addressable element? Or is each 3-gang 3 addressable elements.

Q: Did anyone else get 2 female RCA connectors and find you couldnt use it without the missing coupler?

Mine came with a single female connector on the pigtail as shown in the picture, with the male on the power supply. These are 12mm barrel connectors I believe with the center pin +, not RCA.

Q: Is there anyway to shorten this strand while keeping the lights working?

Absolutely. You can cut the strand anywhere between the elements. I’ve made two smaller strings from one long one. You just need a separate RGB controller and power supply for the 2nd strand.

Q: Can i add wire length in between each led module? Want to use 1 module on fence posts that are 8ft apart. So will be adding 8ft of wire between module

There are slits that can be cut between each set of two, and with a total of 8.9FT when all the slits are cut, including the length of the wire, you may not need to wire them separately.
