Great pack
My last one lasted almost 10 years with daily use, so of course I bought another one when one of the straps broke, these are super tough lots of pockets to keep your stuff organized. Has a tough strap to carry from the top. Shoulder straps fit great very comfortable. Buy it it’s worth it.

Perfect smaller pack
Got the Falcon for my sister for her birthday as her new BOB pack. Very pleased. Its about 300 cubic inches more than my Pygmy, has a hip belt and doesn't have the bottle pouches on the outside--all of which made her want this one over mine. Everything tightens down neatly and the pack doesn't go beyond her body width--which means it is very easy to wear when maneuverability is important. The color is green gray--greening up under yellow light and graying up under white light. And it is built like a tank. It took a lot of Youtube watching, going back and forth on the website, and careful reading of the reviews to determine that this one is the right one for her--and it worked.Interestingly enough, having the two packs side by side, there isn't a real noticeable difference in size until you flip them to thickness comparisons--where the Falcon expands out a section further than the Pygmy. So if you're worried about the size changing its shoulder to shoulder area, don't be. It's thickness shift not width shift. So it really just depends on how much you want to carry more than configuration. The nice thing about Maxpedition is that if you decide you want some more pack, you can either just buy one up or pick up some pouches or rolly polys and attach. You've got options.Anyway, take the time to pull out a measuring tape and get an idea of what it will look like--then go to Youtube and the Maxpedition website and do some more eyeballing. Unless you're lucky enough to have a store nearby that carries the line up, then go there first.Sure, both sizes require that you choose what you're carrying carefully--they're not a giant pack so space is premium. But the trade up is that you can actually carry these packs over long distances or though rougher terrain without the strain and exhaustion of the large packs. And yes, you can get your essentials in easily if you do some thinking--my shelter is a silnylon tarp, MSR stakes, and bankline--which easily fits into my Pygmy along with my Zebra 12 billy and so on.Maxpedition is worth the price. Just take the time to figure out which one of their line up will best suit you and what you want it for.

Great Smaller sized, well made pack!
This pack is perfect if you need a Smaller sized well made backpack, about 25 liter I believe. The shoulder straps are very comfortable, I'm 6 ft tall, slim 165 lean build, if I was any larger the straps would be difficult for my arms slip under, esp with my motorcycle jacket, but great for me. I use this for my 24hr rescue job to pack 2 days of clothes. I added 2 of the 10 inch Rollypolys to the sides, see pic, to add a t-shirt or 2 or whatever I need. It's Not Huge but it fits what I need for a couple days, get one if you need a Small/Medium pack to haul your stuff. It's Not cheaply made, they really pay attention to details, it does show quality as the Military Ruck sacks did.

Great backpack
What a great backpack. Don't waste your money on the cheaper alternatives that look similar. Out of all the other bags that look like this "cough cough" condors version of this backpack is no good even if the price is lower. Stitching all fell apart with the condor pack. I have to give it to maxpediton the falcon ii is a good backpack for the price. Material and stitching is quality it may not be made in the U.S.A. but they sure did a good job. Fits a decent amount of items if you know how to pack and organize well. Others complain about how small or how rough the material is. If you pack the bag fully its actually a pretty decent sized bag not sure why some say the bag won't fit anything. And what do you expect materials wise? Of course the material has to be thick and durable nobody wants a pack that's too soft and fragile. The bag is water resistant up to at least 1 hour. Backpack isn't meant to worn in a downpour so get a backpack cover if your going into the rain. The bag gets soaked after sometime, some parts of the inside get wet. Be sure to store electronics/gear in a dry bag inside the backpack to save your gear. Bottom line is that this pack is worth the price in my opinion

Awesome backpack for multiple purposes.
This is my first Maxpedition product. I'm a gear junkie so I have a lot of different brands of bags and packs. The size of this pack makes it my everyday pack along side my Vanquest Envoy 2.0 (Amazing messenger bag). I use it for biking and toting around town. I carry all sorts of stuff in it depending on what i am doing. It's also comes with me anytime i do any traveling again because of its size. Its perfect for one day adventures. All my other bags are bugout sized bags and are inconvenient to carry regularly. If youre visiting a different city or at a theme park, this bag is perfect for the daily adventure. A couple of weeks ago, my girlfriend took me to the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. It was the end of june and very hot. this bag carried two battery packs for our phones (specifically for pictures and videos), some water bottles, the selfie stick, some snacks and other stuff youd have with you. The material this bag is high strength and sturdy. It's a little stiff but that actually is a good thing because the bag has no internal frame. So the stiffness supports the bag while rummaging through it. Zippers are awesome ykk. Everything physical about the bag is rugged and should last through a lifetime of adventures, which is what i wanted it for. It exceded my expectations.

great pack, recommend over any other brand
Great backpack for every kind of use. The ONLY reason I give this pack a 4 star is due to the price! All other features, looks, feel are amazing. You will not be dissapointed with backpack unless you are heavier or a larger of a person due to the smaller size of the pack.PROS: comfortable, durable, good look, multiple compartments, conceal carry ready, lots of way to strap down extra attachments or equipment, and plenty of molle spots.CONS: price
