LEGO Spring Lantern Festival 80107 Building Kit; Collectible Lunar New Year Gift Toy for Kids, New 2021 (1,793 Pieces)

My first venture into Lego's Chinese New Year Theme and it doesn't disappoint. As a fan of culture and traditions from around the world, it's nice having sets that resemble the real life cultures. This one was pretty easy to build since it's all very flat and mostly just adding decorations on top of what essentially amounts to an extended base board. As a plus, the number of minifigures it comes with give you quite a few options for play if that's more your style. My favorite parts of the set are probably the river, both for the fish and the little blossoms on the water's top.

Absolutely love this. Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my Asian spouse. It’s a unique special edition set. There’s a lot of little details and my kids love that the bull lights up. Easy enough to put together. It’s a fun way for our family to acknowledge our culture.

This is one of sets around Chinese Culture. Many of the sets are themed around Chinese New Year Celebration activities. This one depicts what you might see in a park during the Lantern Festival. Set is well designed and has a large number of pieces (1793) that provides many structural details. Great addition especially if you are collecting the set. A bit overpriced as they seem to all come from China and not available in US stores.

This was a fun build. Lego used some pieces in unusual ways and a lot of the build started upside down and was flipped at the end. Colors are beautiful too.

I think by far my favorite part of this set has to be the unique koi fish tiles that make up the little water areas. All the great minifigs don't hurt either. Plus there's a really cool light up bull, and the set is made to fit with the Modular buildings.

For kids should buy it.

Loved this set and the pacing. Value for me was good but not great. The price to part ratio would tell you its great, but really its a lot of small pieces. I connected this with a few of my modular buildings and it went together great. This definitely can fit in and add an interesting change in style to your modular street.

Fun kit to make. I could not believe how many levels there were before it started to evolve into a scene one could understand. Some parts were hard but most of it was simple. It makes a nice, colorful display piece.
