Money well spent!
I slice a lot of vegetables for various uses, normally consisting of a variety of peppers and onions. I've tried other, more traditional, mandolins, only to have them not work very well on bell and poblano peppers. I'm happy to say that this one handles them with ease and there is a tip - let gravity feed the item. You can use the pusher provided but it tends to want to turn the vegetables sideways as you get near the end whereas gravity feed allows them to stay straight on to the blade. I sliced up 5lbs of various produce today in about twenty minutes (after they were cleaned and cored - not a machine to do that just yet) with pretty consistent sizing.

Awesome product
This slicer works awesome. The gravity feeder is the best attribute as it minimizes risk of contact with the blade which is a great safety feature. Was able to cut up two large cucumbers in about 10 seconds. One of the best kitchen gadgets I own. Folds up nicely for easy storage.

Great for slices and fries
I’m having trouble figuring out how to dice onions on this bc they just shredded and got stuck but making fries worked great! Easy to use and store away.

Sturdy but it doesn’t function well.
This mandolin doesn’t come apart and does not do well creating matchstick veggies. Regardless of how I turn the knobs It only seems to slice whatever I put in them.

Worth the price
I personally haven't used it but my husband said "whatever you paid for that it's worth the price." And he's a cheapskate.

Safer slicing
I like the way this operates in a much safer way than a typical mandolin slicer. And with the ability to change setting to all different kinds of slices and dices it will be my go to. As with any type of slicer it is a bit of a hassle go get everything clean but I am sure that will get easier as I use it more. It is sturdy and with the grips on the bottom it stays put during use.
