Works great to eliminate suspended clay silt
updated 6/24/21I'm not dropping stars since I admittedly don't know enough about flocculants to fault whether what I'm experiencing is related to the product. However, after about 3 days of clearer water, we had a mild rain shower, and the silt added from the run off immediately clouded the water back to the pre-flocculant levels. I was hopeful that after the disturbance, the silt would once again settle, but it has not. Regrettably, it would appear I need to add this material repeatedly to maintain clear water. That is disappointing. I'm now exploring runoff remediation options to prevent silty water from entering the pond in the first place.----Months I've waited for my earthen pond to clear. They clay silt just wouldn't settle despite being undisturbed. After applying this stuff, 24 hrs later I'm in love...Pond is about 50k gallons, and I used 2 gallons of flocculant. Mixed it in a 275 gal tote with water and then sprayed it over the surface with a trash pump from harbor freight. Wow! What a difference. No dye. Just clearer water!
