I really like it!
I think it made my life in video games better. It gets me the hidden Pokemon in Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon White. It only works on Ds Lite. It crapped out as soon as I used the code manager. Otherwise, it would have lasted for at least 6 years or something, so don't use the code manager. I otherwise think this improved my life. Just put in the codes by hand and don't use the code manager and it will be fine. It let's you get hidden Pokemon! If you want Arceus in Pokemon Platinum or Victini in Pokemon White, do not hesitate to order this. It only works on Ds Lite.UPDATE: Can you please lower the price to at most $15? That would be nice because my son likes these too much to be willing to live without one and they are EXTREMELY useful, but they break too easily!!! Each time my son's action replay breaks, he starts hating himself more and more over being a kid because I as a parent know these cost too much to replace and I ain't willing to deal with it any more. Other than the fact that they break easily, this is a very good product. You could save my son's life if you just let him have all of these! Just give them all to my family!!!

Does not work.
Works to the point of being able to load up the screen to add codes, enable them. As soon as you go to launch the game I get a white screen. I’ve reset through PC added codes manually (they are correctly entered) checked updates. Don’t advertise too that this is going to be sold with everything. Had to purchase cable to connect to pc, had to do research on how to get the ARDSI software on the pc. I get it’s all available online but it’s incredibly inconvenient. Also the price paid on this totally ripped off vs everywhere else. Have another one coming for half the price and with everything.

All works as described
Item works perfectly, came with a bunch of games already on it with all pokemon ds games included except black 2 and white 2. Can't complain, easy to use

Works perfectly, not sure why so many people are having an issue.
Not sure why so many have had an issue with this, it works fine if you know what you are doing.I will address a couple concerns below:1. People say this literally broke just by trying to put it in their DSiThere is no way this thing will just "break" on you for putting it into your DS, it feels sturdy, and for those who have managed to break this device, you are doing something very wrong or have hammers for fingers.2. It doesn't work, ectThis is mean to be used with DS, DSi and DSi XL only, and is only for DS games. If you get the other version that can be used in a 3DS, once again it is just for DS games. Action Replay can not be used for 3ds games. If a code doesn't work, you've entered it wrong, trust me.I really have no clue why so many people have trouble with what is a relatively simply device to use. Put the AR with a game in it into your DS, turn the DS on, select the AR app that pops up, it should auto check for the game you have and voila. It will work. If you go adding codes, do so responsibly and never save your game if the code may jeopardize your save file.

Works on DS...
I have a Nintendo DS and this does work on my DS. Games I've tried are Mario Kart DS and New Super Mario Bros. They both are in the games list on the Action Replay, and you can add codes manually (I use neoseeker.com). I initially had some trouble getting the Action Replay to recognize the Mario Bros. cartridge, so I brought up the codes for Mario bros., took out the AR and put in Mario bros., when it asked to boot game with codes then take out Mario bros. cartridge, and put back AR with Mario bros. cartridge in. Long process but works.Great product!!!*Note: I was not able to find and download the driver for Windows 10, so unable to add codes via laptop*

Only thing it's good for is a lesson in buyer-beware consumerism for your kids.
Ordering the Action Replay is a 50/50 that you're going to get one that works. That was the case when you could start getting them years ago and is still the same today. White screen on device right out of the package. Stare at it in disbelief. Try another game. Still white screen. Went to My Orders and got the return label within 4 hours of receiving it. These are such a waste, and targeted at children who get so excited about the codes finally arriving and then not working. Only thing it's good for is a lesson in buyer-beware consumerism for your kids.Adding Edit: Just realized that if you look at the Star Rating, it literally is split 50/50 between 1-star and 5-star ratings. As of today (2/26/18) it's 37% each. So, yes. 50/50 to get one that works. Good luck!

Trickiness...
Allow me to begin with my thanks to the genius who thought up the idea to tinker with game coding...unless he was a hacker? At any rate, it is a grand idea. However, it is kinda sad that his cunning is being slightly degraded by a company such as datel. The software couldn`t have been any better, it did things that would have been tricky elsewhere. Any issues with the product stem from hardware, and codewriting. (sigh) Sadly, trying to find good codes for new games is nigh impossible, and if they would work, i wouldn't be complaining, but...life just doesn't work that way. It'll take time, but the minds at [...] will crank out newer, better codes for my games. I'm a bit worried about what that one guy said, unsoldered parts? Why? unless...unless it was meant to break down...so that people would buy more.........nah! That's...diabolical. Oh, and it will fit in with the silicone case, you just have to remove the top screen from the case. Trust me, I say this as i'm writing this review on my dsi, with my case on, and the bizarre thing jutting out, awkwardly. just don't take it out, you may never get it back in the same way. You know, that and the soldering problem....
