Versatile MIK compatible bike bag
Our new e-bikes came fitted with a MIK compatible rear rack which means that any MIK compatible bag just clicks firmly into place and is easily removable with a key. This bag from Basil is of a very high quality and very versatile. The bag clicks firmly into place on the rear rack, (although it may need pressing down from the inside), and is easily removable with the key and there are D-rings for attaching a supplied shoulder strap. The top of the bag has a pouch and there’s also a mesh pouch on the back. The main storage section can be expanded with a zippered section and the two side section unzip to reveal zippered pannier bags. The bag has proven to be waterproof and there are reflective details on the sides. It looks smart and complements the bicycle and I like it.

Easy clik on/off. plenty of space for taking off layers.
I find this really useful as the extra side paniers, which i thought i wouldn't use, have turned out to be very useful indeed. Although they are smallish, i.e. not suitable for touring, they are big enough to each carry a rain jacket/hoodie, plus the central section has a top extension zip for extra space too. The only drawback is that is does not come with a rain cover, which i had to buy separately (crazy in my view).

Wow.
Build quality.... Excellent. It looks very well made. Tough. Deceptive. Looks a bit small but has loads of space when you expand. Two drop down compartments on each side and the main compartment also can be expanded. I am still waiu for my MIK rear rack from Trek but I think it is a very nice bag. Can hold a full size D lock if you disassemble it. Nice shoulder strap too. Brilliant.

Good quality if a little expensive
After buying a new bike I wanted a better quality bag than I had so decided on this one, nice and sturdy, comes with the baseplate attached and so sits solid, not cheap but being sturdy was important so worth paying

Perfect For What I Need
I was looking for a smaller solution, rather than using panniers, to keep tools and spares in that would fit on the MIK bike rack that was supplied with the bike. It has proved to be a really simple and elegant solution for my requirements, so happy days!
