Printer Inks - Plague of my life
Replacement inks for my 2 x HP 7720's have been the plague of my IT life for the past year. In between HP changing the firmware all the time to invalidate the chips and other issues - let's say it's been painful...I have written several reviews on printer inks and the issues with HP - most are highly uncomplimentary and for good reason. Damaged or missing chips, non-empty cartridges which display as empty, invalid cartridges which the chip no longer work with the firmware and are past return dates, poor printer outputs, continual re-cleans of the heads, sets where you can't swap cartridges from printer to printer... I think I've probably seen most HP printer errors.I'll be honest Jarbo offered a £15 gift card for a five star review. This I'll quite happily do, as this is the first set of inks which has churned out hundreds of pages, all crystal clear, no head cleaning, works every time and have no chip issues. The relief is palpable... They're not cheap but they do exactly what I want and the £15 gift card which I received a week or so later went towards buying another set of inks for my other printer from Tytan P...Although I have no issue with the cartridges supplied, just a cautionary note on the supplier if you do have problems as its very hard to establish who you're dealing with. All three companies on Amazon all offer this product (Tytanp, GIMIGO and INKSTYELER) are all in fact Zhuhai xiangli dianzi shangu youxiangongsi but all have different VAT numbers and Trade registered numbers...Even though the inks are branded JARBO - seemingly a Chinese company registered in Jefferson City in the US - the inks are definitely not Jarbo inks as displayed in the adverts. You get a plain white sticker with a coloured strip and it reads Ink Cartridge Re-manufactured replaces H 953XL and no other brand info. The second set of inks were not branded Jarbo either. This time the box is more revealing in that it plainly states Jarbo Compatible 953XL which it doesn’t mention on Amazon. The EU rep is Lacamax Gmbh. Laubendorf 23, 45326 Essen, Germany and the UK Rep is GSG Consulting Group Ltd, Unit 3, Matthew Street, Gorton, Manchester M12 5BB.Welcome price drop of £4 since last order and £15 gift card the second order a palatable £25. Currently the Inks are £129 on HP's web-site.... Come on guys this is so wrong! £150 for a brand new printer complete with full size cartridges... so you're saying the printer only costs £20. At this rate people will just start buying the printer and throwing it away when they run out of ink... That's not green in any form... BTW I did come across an offer of the printer with a full set of inks with discount at £112.50 - nuts...

Good quality replacements - that work!
After purchasing a cheaper set on Amazon I was somewhat disappointed to find my printer wouldn't accept them - An HP OfficeJet Pro 7730. Despite being sold as compatible for my model, perhaps due to more recent restrictions in HP firmware rejecting the chips? it just rejected them, sometimes all colours, sometimes a few, but it wouldn't print as a result.I decided to purchase a more expensive set with excellent reviews and the old adage "you get what you pay for" comes into play. These Jarbo cartridges not only physically fit better, they worked straight away with no incompatibility. Prints are perfect, no banding and accurate colours. Still at a fraction of genuine HP cartridges, I shall be buying these again next time...

Does the job very nicely!
I'm very fond of my printer, but I HP original inks are punishingly expensive. This is the first time I've tried remanufactured cartridges and I wondered how it would work out.The TL;DR answer is, absolutely fine! The cartridges came well-packaged and with a helpful leaflet. Everything looked and felt as I would have expected. But what would happen when I replaced my HP original cartridge with this one?The printer knows it's not an original, but after a message to that effect, it got on with its job of printing. The quality looks the same, it's just way more affordable. There's nothing else to say. It does the job I bought it for and I'm happy!

Just saved myself a small fortune
HP printer had gone out of its 3 year warranty and the Instantink programme wasn’t working cost wise. Genuine cartridges are madly expensive so decided to give these a try. Installed, clicked ok following warning that I was installing non-genuine cartridges but printer is working perfectly. Printing quality is absolutely no different to original inks. The cost difference is phenomenal. No errors that some others have reported despite printer using latest firmware versions.

First Class Product at an Ultra Competitive Price.
Purchased the JARBO Compatible 953XL Cartridges and found them superb when printing both black and colour. When in the past purchasing products with chip could be problematic and lots of accompanying advice on how to overcome issues. This was not the case with this product. Installed as would with HP ink and printer after completing automatic installation procedure was ready to go with any pop up or text about being recognised as non genuine. A first class product at an ultra competitive price. Will definitely re-order.
