This rivet nut tool works exactly like it should. Plenty of power, super easy to use, and it handles both metric and SAE sizes without a hitch. The quick unthreading feature is a nice bonus, and it feels solid in the hand. Great value for the price—definitely a 5-star tool in my book.

Works as it should. I all but stopped using nutserts with my old hand held tool. Now I’m back to using them more than ever with the ease and simplicity of this pneumatic tool.

4 star just because it may have been user error. First time to use it, put the 1/4 mandrel in and started off. First 4 nuts worked perfectly, the fifth did not. In fact, the mandrel never moved. Took it back apart and found the mandrel had backed out of the holder and semi-stripped the first couple of threads on the mandrel. Cleaned it up (who has reverse thread tap and dies??), and put it back in as tight as I could. That worked. Next 10 nuts went perfectly. One word of warning: the mandrel handle moves and will easily catch the back of your hand if you're "choked up" on the trigger. This isnt a pistol- move your hand down. Twice bit before I got the technique. It hurt! Otherwise, solid piece of equipment so far.

I'm trying to avoid buying more tools but I had a fairly big job that required quite a few rivnuts. Being not so young anymore I didn't want to have to do all the rivnuts bu hand so I went out on a limb and purchased this. It worked perfectly! I knew nothing about setting rivnuts but I found setting it up to be pretty easy, some instructions would be nice though. After well over a hundred rinvuts, I have no complaints and now I am dreaming up how to use rivnuts in other jobs. Very happy with this tool.

I wish bought this years ago instead of trying to strong-arm rivnuts in tight spaces with the manual type tools. works well in tight clearance areas

I am returning the product for the following reasons:1) The product packaging is badly designed in that when one has coupled it to an air-hose connecting nipple, the product will no longer fit in the plastic tool storage container.2) The product instructions are most in-adequate3) It would be great if the company would feature a comprehensive tool operation video. We all know what how the tool is supposed to operate, but how does one fine tune it achieve these results. The very basics of how to change the tool to accommodate various rivet nuts is not covered very well or explained in detail.4) I am returning the product after not even using it for these reasons. I can only imagine what level of after-sales service I could expect or NOT expect to receive.5) So much by way of resource loss could be avoided if the most fundamental of marketing principles are incorporated.

This unit replaces an identical unit that broke after a few years of light use. If this unit lasts longer, it’s 5 stars.
