I once tried ginseng tea and the flavor was overpowering. This is mild tasting, will provide energy and no staining teeth. Was worried about the glucose but its only 1 gram

Healthy, tastes good, easy to make... comes in packets, can carry and use anywhere... No bags or mess. Have used this product for years.

I just want to make it clear to anyone reading this, this tea has a taste that I can only describe as "mature" :p I will not say that it is outright repulsive like most do, but I cant say its a very tasty beverage either. It's "aight" :p It's got a very earthy taste that, in my opinion, tastes a bit better after its been cooled down a bit. I had a bit of a cold last week; I think it was 2 days after I got the tea delivered. I'll say this now, I am honestly not too big of a fan of tea, specifically "hot" tea. But I had some of this tea in an effort to alleviate my sickness, and lemme tell you, it helped tremendously :) I can recall trying to drink hot tea while I was sick, and it just would not work because it felt like I was just drinking something to warm myself up, and nothing else. With korean red ginseng, it feels like you're drinking the "cure" :) not only does it warm you up, but it soothes the throat like nothing else. you can try using a throat lozenge or something similar, but lozenges taste terrible. no one seems to want to admit that. this does everything a throat lozenge does and MORE, without any intensity, which is what I really don't like if I've got a cold. This by far is the only cold remedy I can recommend with 100% confidence. I can't say if you'll enjoy it as much as I did, but it will certainly make you feel way better if you've got a cold. 1000/10 bar none. if you want the perfect cold remedy, this is it right here. thanks for reading if you did :)

EXTREMELY GOOD PRODUCT!!

When I first got this product I was very excited to even find it at all! I left from the city to the country and in the country.. you can't find this product like you could in the city.When I found this product on Amazon I was overjoyed to even find it at all!However, when I use this product it wasn't the same as it was before. The flavor of it was weaker and there was less granules to put in your cup. I have to put four packets for one cup like I used to do for one before.So now I have to use four times the amount to get the same amount of flavor. So the quality I've noticed has gone down.Even when I do combine four packets in one cup I do notice the flavor isn't as sweet like it used to be. It's not as well-rounded and you barely taste the herbal properties inside the tea.I also do not feel any effects from this any longer like it used to do in back in the days when it was more potent.So this is no longer a product that I feel works any longer I feel it's a placebo. The older formula I used to feel it energy from it and now I don't feel anything at all. I also have to use four times the amount in order to be able to get the same strength as I used to do before.So if you want to get this just realize you're going to have to use four to five packets in one cup to get the similar flavor as it used to be.I will say... That this product was fresh brand new sealed in great quality as well. But it just not the same as before so I'm a little disappointed

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This ginseng tea is basically the extract powder mixed with glucose, its slightly sweet and has a lot of benefits.The only downfall of this drink is its taste (That's why it got 4* in the "taste" rating line). It does takes time getting used to, but it grows on you because of the fact its very good for you!Taking it for over 12 years without missing a single morning in my cup of tea.I found the best way to get used to it's taste is to add it to your favorite drink or morning drink of choice, be it hot or ice tea or coffee, smoothie, soup for that matter... (yes, it does dissolve in ice-cold water), in which case it won't even be noticeable like a separate overpowering taste... but on it's own it resembles the taste of raw beets, if you ever had them... - slightly earthy.Now after all these years I actually miss it in my drink if my hubby forgets to put it (he started using it as well for the last few months and says he can feel the difference), so I go and fix it, because I can feel it's not there, but I am such a believer in this little root, because of my heritage and where it grows.This particular kind of ginseng actually grows in my native city, but it's forbidden to harvest as it's considered as one of the indangered species.For me the major benefits of this drink are:Energy- my hubby says if he doesn't take it first thing in a morning, he can feel he is not getting on the same energy level as with it.Weightloss (even though I am skin and bones, it helps me to stay in shape - it increases the speed of you metabolism, so you digest your calories faster and it helps to push out all extra out of your system.It's good for a lot of things and you can read the "benefits and side effects (which it doesn't have, unless you have heart problems)" and makes your day brighter and happier!I sm sticking with this one for the lifetime. That's the thing- if you started it, do not stop, unless you are allergic or it causes something in your body which you don't wish for.... this is the only one ginseng in the whole list of species which doesn't have any major side effects and is mild. If you want something stronger, you need to go to an Asian store and ask for something else.And price is right!
