Q: Does anyone know the names of the dinosaurs?

I hate when people just answer "no." How is that helpful. I'm not a dinosaur expert, but I am a paleontologist. So... from the top left a pteranodon (not a dinosaur, but a flying reptile), Brachiosaurus (Blue long-necked dinosaur), Parasaurolophus (Green duck-billed dinosaur), Tyrannosaurus rex (red toothy dinosaur), Stegosaurus (Orange/green plated dinosaur), Deinonychus (Green toothy dinosaur), Apatosaurus (Purple long-necked dinosaur. I'd also go with Diplodocus. Just don't call it a Brontosaurus), and Ankylosaurus (red spikey dinosaur). Have fun!

There is a sticker on the back of the puzzle board of the puzzle for reference. But, there are no pictures under the pieces.

No, the names aren't listed anywhere.

Q: is there a picture to view while assembling pieces? To help with placement.

There is an approximately 5 inch x 8 inch picture on the back packaging that if kept would provide an ample picture. The puzzle has only 24 pieces so I believe the picture would be sufficient. Thank you for your question, I hope that this helps.
