The canisters look very nice in my kitchen and are very well made. A silicone gasket along the lid secures it to the canister and creates a decent seal. I liked them so much that I bought a second set, one for my Husky's treats, the other for my general kitchen use. I would have given five stars but one thing was lacking, a nob on the lids to make it easier to open. I solved this by going to the hardware store and modifying the lids myself.

These are definitely cute, but too small to fit anything substantial in them. So if you were thinking "these would be great for my flour, sugar, and brown sugar, think again. As for use in the kitchen: the smallest one would be perfect for your sugar, but that's about it for baking needs. For the "larger" of the three you could fit like a half a bag of flour, but you'd still have flour bagged somewhere―so what's the point?These could be great for a teacher: the larger container for pencils, smaller containers of erasers, thumbtacks, rubber bands, etc.

they look beautiful. but the bamboo lids don't lay as neatly, they look like they don't fit but I think it's airtight. the black paint to write on gets scratched so you have to be very gentle when you write. it's hard to move them around or handle them because there's no handle and you don't want to touch the writing if you don't use permanent chalk. that's the only complaint, but they looks so pretty. each canister comes with a chalk too.

Exactly what I was looking for and as pictured and yes they are a bit on the small size but perfect for my Hubbys coffee stuff! They came packaged in a box with foam so in perfect condition. I love the fact that I can write anything I want on them and can change it up easily with the chalk board window. Would definately recommend this product it is priced affordable and is a quality product. Tip: would recommend buying the chalk pens works way better than the chalk that comes with it.

Love. Love. Love these canisters. They are well made, thick porcelain, with beautiful looking wood tops that have nice rubber seals on them. They are great sizes and easy to write on with the chalk. I think in the future I will use paint to permanently write on them though, since the chalk can smear fairly easy.Right now I am keeping different coffees in them and it seems to be going well. Keeps the beans fresh and dry.

our canisters arrived today, they look mostly as described, though a bit smaller than expected. The chalk spaces take up less of the side than expected.Pros: Look pretty much as expected. Arrived in a timely manner, nothing was brokenCons: the seals cause the lids to pop up significantly, and I doubt their actual air-tightness because of this.Major con: one of the bamboo lids for the widest canister came with some moderately deep scratches/gouges when we took it out of the styrofoam. Very disappointed with the appearance of them with the scratches. I don't think I will return them, but I will not be buying from this seller again.

I use the large jar for flour and medium jar for sugar. The small canister had issues staying closed because the ring around the lid folds up but it does not really bother me since I use that jar for bottle caps. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase!

I enjoy baking and often move smaller amount of items to the jars. I can erase the description and add new to suit what I am doing. Very well made, no worries about it breaking easy or melting in the dish washer.
