Please enable text-to-speech function on kindle
I really wish the text-to-speech function was enabled, so students with visual disabilities would have an accessible version. I bought the e-text with the hope that this feature would be enabled on kindle so I would not have to cut the binding off the print version and have it scanned, but sadly it does not work.

A MUST read to understand the frontiers in Epigenetics
A very compreensive and also deep review of the last discoveries and the function of Epigenetics.Very organized book, from multiple authors expressing diferent research lines and perspectives from Epigenetics. The text is covered with references, average 150 per chapter with articles and review updated until 2009.Graduated understanding in Biology, Molecular Sciences, or Medicine will be wellcome to read it.

Great
I really liked the book and have to say it was even a bit more than I expected. The illustrations are good and the topics were just what I needed in order to help me understand Epigenetics better. I definetly recommend, especially for those starting to study Epigenetics or wanting to know more about its mechanisms.

Informative
I bought this book for a class only to find out that it was available through the school online class. I basically paid for it twice. The book is informative.

Well Written text
This is a great text to bring one up to date on the exploding subject of epigenetics. I am an older physician and appreciate the update.

Do no get if non-bio major
This book is not for people who have not had experience with biology texts. I am a non-bio major, and found this book almost impossible to get through.

A handbook for the specialist; it will always be there on my shelves when I need it.
I ordered this book from Amazon because I needed the book to keep up with thinkers at the University near where I live. Epigenetics is becoming a much talked about topic in genetics research as it provides a plausible explanation for the transmission and development of human and animal characteristics such as disease or cancer where conventional genetics can not explain these occurrences. The book itself is comprehensive but highly technical and really for a reader who already has a knowledge of terms in epigenetics. Postgraduate level, or University staff.
