Pros and cons
Pros: My 16 yr old Chihuahua LOVES this food! I love the ingredients so we are both happy with the food. She also has a hernia but can’t have surgery due to a collapsed trachea. This food seems to easily move through her which is important!Cons: I don’t like feeding her the chicken because it seems to give her more gas, however, it’s DOUBLE the cost to get need only??? To me, that just doesn’t make sense and it’s frustrating

Good dog food, shipping and quality of can questionable
This dog food works well for those with some food allergies. I've been subscribing this for awhile now and it usually comes in it's original box. Sometimes even on the subscription, this order has been delayed, but then recently, we received it without the box and one of the cans was really busted up (please see attached pictures). I'm tempted to return it, but really need to feed the dog. I'm hoping this won't happen again. Otherwise, I'm switching to a different service and product for dog food.

Good allergen free food
Many brands of cheap dog food cause diarrhea for my border collie (2.5 years). However I accidentally bought these not realizing it was chicken yet she did fine with them no I’ll effects. Wellness has always seemed to be a good brand but even Nulo chicken recipe causes her stomach upset. So I gotta praise wellness for this product. Nulo Natural balance abd wellness are good companies but only wellness has chicken recipe my dog tolerates. I would recommend anyone switch foods if their dog is suddenly sick or has liquid where there should be solid. This food genuinely surprised me even though I screwed up by purchasing it, I’m glad she has variety now (poultry included).

My pick dog readily eats this food
After months of trying to find food that my pup liked, would eat and could keep in his tummy I finally found Wellness Digestive. This is a brand that my Whole Dog Journal included in their “good dog food list” so I felt comfortable trying it and I am glad I did! The only issue I have is not with the food, but with the delivery. Unfortunately, I had to throw one can out and three were quite dented.

Will raise glucose levels
I have a 11-year-old mini doxie that was just diagnosed with diabetes and pancreatitis. Spent a week in the UF animal hospital. The vet recommended a soft low-fat food. After hours of research in both online and in the pet store, we chose this food as the fat content was on the low side. We bought a couple cans, and he ate it right up. We then bought a case. Oh, BIG mistake, we noticed his glucose levels were creeping up high and staying high on his glucose meter. We found another food that was on the preferred list and available at the store. After a few meals, his levels went back to the normal range, and they stay pretty normal throughout the day!! I do NOT recommend this food for diabetic dogs.
