Great hopper and at $99 it is a great value.
Really nice hopper. For the purposes of this review I will be comparing the Spire 200 to the Dye Rotor (v1) which is similarly priced. What I love about the spire:1) it has never jammed. I have put several cases of poor quality GI 1 star paint through this hopper without a single jam. I purchased this hopper specifically because my rotor was jamming when trying to feed poor quality paint.2) incredibly easy to switch lids- it takes about 10 seconds to switch from the crown speed feed to the rain lid. This is a great feature when the weather changes. With the rotor it take me a good 5 mins and a lot of frustration to install or remove the rain lid.3) LED is very bright- the LED indicating power on/low battery is very bright and can be seen in full sun. I always found my self shielding my rotor from the sun struggling to see if it was on.What I miss from my Rotor:1) Spring Ramp- rotor comes with a spring ramp stock. The spring ramp pushes the paint towards the feed opening. With the spire I find myself having to tip the hopper back to feed the last 10-15 balls. There are times when this can be the difference between winning and losing a point. They do sell a spring ramp for the spire but one comes stock on the Rotor.2) Unloading Hopper- at the end of the day when I need to unload my hopper I normally take it off the gun and place it on top of my ball hauler. Then I turn the hopper on and bam all my paint is in my ball hauler. For some reason when I do this with my spire, the spire thinks the hopper is empty (the LED turns red) and feeds very slowly. The rotor take a matter of seconds to unload itself. The spire takes several minutes to unload itself.3) Getting Your Hopper Shot to Pieces- close range side impacts to the clear plastic lid on the Spire will cause it to fly off. It does not break it and the lid pops right back on but it is just no fun having your opponent shoot pieces off your hopper. From what I can tell the battery life of the spire 200 and rotor is very similar. The Spire is definitely my go to hopper now. No jams is a really big plus for me. I have never been stuck behind a bunker field stripping my Spire. I have field stripped my Rotor during a point so often I can disassemble and reassemble it without looking. I also know the Spire 3 fixed a lot of the issue I have with the Spire 200. Knowing what I know now, I would still buy a Spire 200 and spend the $150 savings on paint.

No breaks, no jams, easy to load, holds a lot of paint, little noisy
I used to use a Pinokio P250/400. That thing would jam all the time; if I wanted to take 10 shots, I'd get 6 without fail. I've used this on 5 separate days now without a single jam. I now know what it feels like to spray paint like some of the other guys out on the field -- it feels awesome! I can now reliably provide cover fire for my teammates to make stupid-long dashes to the next bit of cover. I even got daring (having read other reviews online) and threw dirty reballs in it--NO issues. I don't have a speedfeed (yet); the stock reload process is much better to me than the Pinokio's; the huge mouth is awesome. I learned I have to tip my gun forward a bit to get the paint to fill the entire hopper, otherwise it kinda groups up toward the opening -- not a big deal, just something I picked up on. I compared this to my buddy's Rotor and it's real hard to tell whose is larger -- after a bunch of deliberation, we decided the Spire was larger (as it technically is... heh). I do wish it wasn't constantly attempting to rotate so it'd be quieter but I think I'm the only one that can hear it -- teammates 5 feet away don't seem to notice. So, I won't take off a star for that -- it's not like it's giving away my position.

Great Loader; Great durability, A bit pricey
The Virtue Spire Loader is a great hopper to use for games ranging from woodsball to speedball, not lacking behind any hoppers I have experienced and has kept up to the speed of my paintball marker. I have probably shot about three to four cases through it in the last six months I have had it, and its held itself up pretty well; and haven't had a jam yet. Unfortunately, it was a bit pricey, and the loader can be sensitive at times, however the quality of it is really well and if you really want a good hopper, I would say this would be it.Pros:- Cleaning is easy- Battery life is better than I expected- Design allows for a more smaller profile, dissimilar to my last hopper which was fairly large- Speedfeed installation is really simplified and easy- Overall designCons:- A bit expensive- Can try to "load" paintballs when none is actually in, probably needs some adjusting.

Good but has its issues...
Really great hopper. No problem keeping up with my G6R. What I love about it is it simplicity and there by its reliability. My only real minuses is that you have to pay separately for the speed ramp. Furthermore I’ve had the stock lid completely come off during a couple of games. That was really disappointing yeah so if you pull it a certain way when you’re loading your hopper it’ll come straight off. I biught the speed feed to address the issue so I don’t have to open up the lid anymore.

Love these. Best price
Wish I got black. Because the dark purple doesn’t match anything. But me and my buddy swapped tops. So black and purple combo makes it bearable on my dust purple axe. But these hoppers work great

Quite the loader. More than you would imagine
Got this loader on a whim. I liked the colors, and reviews were good.Upon receipt, I was first caught by the look of this device. Flat, boxy surfaces. Very akin to the old F-117 stealth fighter.Firing the loader up, I learned that it could/needed to be programmed. A number of parameters are easily changed with just a few button pushes. I turned the lights off and the sensitivity down a bit, but left it alone other than that.Once tuned up and ready to go, I have yet to out shoot this loader. It senses the firing of the marker and speeds itself up accordingly. It is gentle on paint and on batteries. It sits lower than the Rotor, and is considerably quieter. If you need the pinnacle of hoppers, pick this one up.
