Update 6/23/22 the full date code is:201717:25 8 04To be fair, I do not know what this means.If it is 5 years old it certainly didn't degrade in that time period.All of the containers were still sealed. I sampled one and it tasted very good. Nice tomato and onion taste, still very juicy-I would not have tasted it if it had been dried out. And it has very little "heat" just a minor hint of spicy. Good for me because I don't like the hot stuff.I give it an A+ for taste and quality and low price. Perfect for me.

My kids love chips and salsa. This was a great find to make taking salsa to school/after-school activities easy. No worries about lost containers or temperature (cold to hot). Perfect size to fit into lunch bags and not be wasted. Plenty of flavor packed in a small way.

This salsa has no flavor. My package came opened missing containers.

It says 16 little 3oz containers on the description. It came only 11 cups, 5 on the bottom layer, 5 next layer and a random one in a usps wrapped wth its plastic bag. That’s a lot to be missing at this price.
