It is so easy to use just point and press the button, it seems to be accurate and very sturdy! It is a value for money because we have had to buy a few of these for my work at a really steep price and this one is great!

I had been looking for this type of thermometer for a while. But arrivals in 4-6 weeks, terrible reviews, etc. put me off. I'd actually given up until one day I took my mom to the local military base hospital to pick up a prescription and there were Marines scanning folks at the door.I saw how quickly and effortlessly this was happening and I asked if there was a brand name or model number on the device. There was. I searched on my phone and surprised to find the exact match on Amazon. For a price I really didn't expect to see. With Prime 2 day delivery!This thermometer is all it's described to be. Clear instructions, easy to use. Right out of the box just point and shoot (after putting the batteries in of course) with the default settings and you're good to go. The one thing that surprised me was that there is no laser pointer. I haven't missed that at all and I haven't blinded anybody with it either.

The product arrived on time, packaging was in great shape. When I first tested it against another for accuracy I found it to be off by about 1.5 degrees. For the most part, the directions were clear on how to calabrate for accuracy, but I did have to recalibrate x3 for complete adjustment. After the initial first night it has been working great and staying on point. I would recommend this item and I would buy this product again.

the need to check temperature has increased with COVID.my family uses to use the one where you had to put it on your forehead to read your temp.But that one broke for no reason.So I was looking to getting a no-contact device.Then I found this one which only costed me $7.Considering I had to pay about $30 for the one that broke with no other functionality than to check your body temp, this was a no brainer.I got the device and let me tell you I'm blown away by the quality and the multiple functionalities it has.It not only can check your body temp but also temp of other materials and surfaces.The reading changed each time but the diff. was very minor less than 1degree.So I'm very very happy with the purchase.I hope this one lasts a long time.

Works great.

Used three types, oral, ear, and this one. If oral read 100, the ear read 99.5 and this product was between 96.5 and 97.8. I tried forehead, the temple. 3 test all the same. Next test oral was98 or 99, ear was 98.5 this product was 97.3. I change the batteries no change in temps. Now the fact is i have no way to tell which device gave the best information.

This takes readings with the push of its trigger (I don't even have to turn on power separately) and it shuts off automatically a few seconds after taking the reading, which is plenty of time to see the result, but doesn't waste battery. It is super simple to use and the temperature readings correlate well with our other surface and internal thermometers.
