Liomor Knee Brace with Open Patella Design for Meniscus Tear Support, Suitable for Less Than 18” in Knee Circumference Used

After looking at probably every knee brace on Amazon, I decided the design of most of them looked the same, so I ordered the least expensive one just to see if the design worked for me, and if so, I figured I could then order a better quality brace. I was very surprised to find this knee brace to be of high quality. It is a good weight, not flimsy, the materials are nice, and all the edges are nicely finished. My only complaint is that the center strap could be a bit longer. My knee measurement is within their given spec, but the center strap barely reaches the velcro. That's okay, though; the center strap is mostly used for positioning while putting on the brace. I pull it tight for that purpose and then after the top and bottom are properly secured, I can loosen to the center strap. This brace is easy to put on, and I can wear it either inside or outside my pants leg. I use this brace for support while bowling. I had been using a very bulky pull-on brace, which was a nuisance to put on and could only be worn under my pants leg. This brace works just as well and is much easier to deal with. It folds up compactly, so I can keep it in my bowling bag. I can't remember if there were complaints about this brace smelling bad, but if so, it smelled just a bit when I unpacked it, but I didn't notice any odor while wearing it or when I took it off. I did NOT receive a discount to review this product.UPDATE July 28, 2016: After only a couple of months (it's now late July), the velcro on the center strap has worn down significantly, and it's hard for me to get the strap to stay secured. It often keeps popping open. I use the brace for only a couple of hours from 2-3 times a week while bowling. I am very disappointed because I really liked this knee support, but now it's barely usable for me. I have ordered a different support that comes in a larger size.

I was skeptical when I saw it on arrival, but I have been quite pleased with the brace's performance. It has stayed in place quite well, and it was just the right size for my knee in general. The open nature with velcro strap takes some getting used to as it can be awkward to get on at first, but once you get the hang of it that system allows you to secure it to just your size at all corners. (My other knee braces I've found often seem too big or too small at one end or the other, making it either impossible to stay up or impossible to get on respectively, not a problem with this.) The material at the inside top and bottom might seem like it will irritate at first, but once you get moving in working out you don't even notice. So it stays up and does not slide around, which is key for me compared to other braces I've had. I haven't tried washing it yet, but might buy another one!

This is a good brace especially for the price. I was using a different one previously and it wasn't helping so I chose this one. I am truly happy with my purchase. The only ready I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't found out what the issue is that is causing the pain and discomfort. While the brace helps a lot it doesn't completely keep the pain from effecting me. It does allow me to walk for longer periods of time as opposed to my previous brace. It also doesn't need to be adjusted every so often once I put it on it actually stays in place.

When I first received this product I was elated! It was sturdy, looked good and felt amazing. However, after I played volleyball with it about 5 times, the velcro started loosening and did not stay. It started with the middle strap and later the outside straps. Now (about a month later) I despise wearing it because I would have to stick it back at least once every 5 minutes.**IF YOU PLAY A SPORT THAT"S INTENSE DO NOT BUY!!**** I will add that they contacted me and offered a replacement or refund because of my dissatisfaction.2 stars for the product, but 5 stars for the customer service 👌🏾👌🏾

I find that it's ok for $10, but your knee will sweat no matter what you do, and I do not believe if I really gave it a work out that it would stay on. For not killing yourself on the elliptical, it's okay. Just bring a knee sweat towel

Excellent product. I recently had knee surgery and most of the cartilage was taken out on the outside of my knee. It's been four months and it still isn't healing well. This brace helps me considerably. It stabilizes my knee so that I can do more things and doesn't allow the knee to hyper-extend or twist as much. Really helpful. It also helps me when I'm riding my spin bike. Just stabilizing the knee like I said before is a huge help. I will always keep this brace around.

It worked okay for the first week. But then I realized that the Velcro is only sticking to the material it is made of not another piece of Velcro. I would not recommend this to someone who is active. After walking about 30 feet it was undone and it is very frustrating having to attempt to re-Velcro it.

The brace is fairly comfortable and does provide good support. There is an area at the tip of the strap where the stitches are that rubs against the skin and makes your leg itch. With the cover the whole area with neoprene. Overall it's a good product.
