Q: Can this bag withstand flooding? I live in a flood area.

It's advertised as water proof. If submerged for days--not sure how viable the contents would be. It is not air tight. I'd contact the manufacturer (company) for specifics. It is the kind of bag you would purchase to protect papers and valuables as a "bug-out" bag.

Q: What are the interior dimensions of the main compartment? I have a 16" x 11" x 2" laptop that I would need to be able to fit inside.

Inside the bag, the size of the pocket connected to the lid: 17"*11.5" The interior dimensions of the main compartment is smaller: 15"*10.2" It is recommended that you put it in the main pocket of the bag.

Q: Is the coating sticky feeling? I ordered another and sent it back because it was so sticky it picked up lint, dust, etc.

YES, the item material has a 'sticky' feel. Only after a query did the Seller reply "...our products are made of fire-resistant liquid glass fiber cloth as the main material. The material itself has a little stickiness ..." Maybe I will give one to my Local Fire Department to conduct a Fire Test to determine if "...the upgraded silicone fiberglass fabric that can withstand temperatures up to 2000℉ , has passed the UL 94 VTM-0 test for fire resistance,..." is as stated by the Seller.
