You can take her hair out of braids, but you should leave them with bands around the top so she has bunches, as her hair will not lay well if you remove all the bands. ~ Silly Puppets

How does the head move? Is it movable without moving the body? Also, do the braids come out to change the hairstyle?

The head moves! I think the the braids come out! I’m not positive! My Granddaughters loved them! I bought 2!

Is the arm control rod supposed to be curved or straight?

The arm rod is straight. However the metal can be quite soft so you can curve it if you like. If you want it straight you can step on it and straighten it out. Hope that helps. Puppets4u
