Best clay thrower for the price!
100% Definitely worth buying, easy set up, and take down, it functions just like it’s supposed to, one or two man operation while shooting!

Disappointment Horrible Experience Cheap hardware holding it together
Bought it for family to use on Easter weekend.Right out of the box had to drill out the tilt adjustment holes so pin would fit.Started using took for ever to get it to work then about 100 clays in the plate that holds and loads the clays , with the very flimsy cheap bolts not much bigger than what u find on a pair of eye glasses fell out.That’s right ! out in the field with no tools and trying to find the pieces to put it back together. I put it back together and tried to like it but was really disappointed in quality and performance so i returned it .

Great Product
This product is fantastic. Easy to set up and use. Threw around 30 skeet targets today and only one broke. Very happy with this purchase so far.

Make sure to reinforce the cable coating near the post inside
Just to be clear, it’s pretty awesome. However, it does have a manufacturing oversight. The cable does rub on the post inside, I put some gear aid tape on it to avoid premature wear for now. I will eventually put some shrink tube over these problem areas and I think that will extend the longevity of the cable significantly. Also for some reason sometimes the throwing arm slips passed the stopping peg and just throws immediately breaking the clays. Not sure on the fix for that yet. But overall. I’m happy with it. Makes clay shooting funner, but also more costly lol 😂

Very portable
Love this thrower. Setup and tear down is 5 minutes. Less expensive and easier than the electric, no battery required. Can be used by yourself.

Was very impressed
When I got it out of the box I was thinking why did I buy this it’s not going to work good. But when I set it up and it was very easy to do. I tried it and I was very impressed with it. It throws them Clay pigeons very well and far. Thank you Caldwell.

Broke first use, loved it for 30-40 clays..
i want to love this unit as it does what it says it does. but its not built very well. my first use, the crimp holding the wire between the throw plate and the foot pedal slid off indicating a weak crimp. caldwell did nothing since this was "purchased on amazon" so i have an exchange in progress (april 2025).great idea, terrible execution. looking forward to a gen 2 and seeking a different machine for local trap shooting.

Worth it
Overall it's worth the $$. Much easier to operate than conventional throwers, but doesn't tend to break several clays.
