Our Devils Claw Plus Pellets 20lbs have a best buy date of three years. The product will still be good if given before the expiration date.

Is this actually 20 pounds or 2 pounds as shown in the image?

mine was 20 pounds - I think they are just showing the 2 lb container. 20 lb container is much bigger and is more square.

Is the granular substance supposed to be so hard? Having a difficult time getting it out of the container, one solid lump.

I switched to the pellets a couple years ago for this reason.

Why aren't you advertising this product as pellets when you are shipping a solid granular block? My horse needed this product and I have to return it

We sell the product in Pellet form and Granular form. If the customer ordered the granular, it sounds like the product has hardened. We do not have any other complaints regarding our devils claw granular being hard. It could be that the product was an older lot and had been sitting too long. I would suggest sending a replacement of another lot or see if they would like to try the pellets instead.
