Good replacement battery
I used this battery to bring an old Nikon Coolpix camera back to life. It fits the OEM charger and the camera, and it works just fine.

Always keep a charged up battery on hand
As a retired professor, 93 years of age, i use this camera is used to take micro images of art work. without a charged battery, my work would be stopped.

Would not hold charge
It did not hold a charge overnight. Luckily it was not an expensive purchase.

Did not fit Nikon Coolpix 885 camera until sanded down
The new battery takes a charge but I had to sand it down evenly on both of the large flat sides quite a bit for it to fit removably in my Nikon 885 Coolpix camera. The prior identical brand and model number battery fitted fine. They just needed to check the dimensions before they packaged the batteries and put them in inventory to ship but that was too much trouble for preserving their reputation. Go figure....

I ordered a replacement battery for my old Nikon coolpix as the original battery never held a charge for very long.What a big improvement this battery makes in the charging and shooting life of my camera!An excellent value.
