Follow Me To Ground

Beautiful Lyrical Prose
This book is honestly written in such a lovely style. I'm so happy I found it. Standard descriptions, no matter how nicely put together can get a bit boring over a long enough time frame but this whole story feels like every word was specifically chosen, almost like a poem. The metaphors themselves are none I've ever come across before, it was a gorgeous read.Extremely interesting characters (especially the main two, Father and Ada), which the book gives you a little insight into their thoughts at the beginning of each chapter. The rest of the chapter is written from Ada's perspective which was an extremely interesting perspective to be in. I loved this book, I 100% recommend. I can't even say if you like 'so and so', you'll like this because I've never read anything like it before. Can't wait for the author's next book.

Follow me to ground.
Well, this is a tricky one to review, it is a weird and almost wonderful feverish dream of a book. The writing is rich and lyrical and the author's talent is not in doubt, however to be honest I was left conflicted as whilst appreciating the skill and sheer imagination of Sue Rainsford I was pleased to finish and move on to something else.I decided to give 4 stars as I obviously didn't hate the book and was seriously impressed by the writing talent. This is a slim little book, easily readable in one intense session.

Beautifully written and fantastically creative.
Loved it. There's a whole rich world here that I hope is further explored and unpacked in future books.

Dark and lovely
This book was dark, mysterious, and deep. I really enjoyed the book. It was shorter than I expected to be, but still a good read.
