Childhood memories
After having this book as a child I was overjoyed to randomly find it again when searching for letter books for my daughter. It's changed slightly since I had it but still a fantastic book, with each letter having its own little story. It's helped my 4 year old alot as she used to only say the letter not the phonics and since using this book with her she is picking it up. Lovely pictures and a joy to read.About my review:As I make most of the purchases for my young family, I always read reviews before making a final decision on any purchase. I rely on peoples honest comments about a product; therefore I will always leave an honest review, whether it is positive or negative. I try to include any pros and cons of an item when required. I will not just leave a review for the sake of leaving a review. I am more than happy to answer questions with regards to an item I have reviewed or about the review itself.

Love this! Used it with my kids, now with my grandchildren!
This is a great book. Has all a child and parent needs to get started. In my opinion, remembering and rehearsing the "pure" sounds for each letter makes such a difference in enabling a child to decipher words at quite an early age.

A classic
My daughter loves this, and has started moving towards recognising the letters without the animals in them eg 'look mummy, it's a clever cat' etc. Having the QR code to read the pages aloud is a good touch but I'd have liked if there was also an option to read the entire book to you, rather than having every minute my daughter ask for the next one. Still good, and I'd recommend.

Not as helpful as I thought for a 4 year old bou
I bought this to help my 4year old grandson with reading & writing but I found it to be a little confusing as the items relating to the letters were not that easy. I had the original Alphabet land book & I wished I’d bought that. It may suit an older age group

Nostalgic!
I remember this from when I was at school 30 years ago and it’s just as I remember. It’s a great learning aide and I’d highly recommend.
