So Siemens VDO sold its Automotive parts segment to Continental in 2007, Redi-sensor is manufactured by Continental. Continental is now the “OEM”. I was upset when I saw the Redi-sensor labeling on package when I opened my box as this comes across as aftermarket. But I checked online for verification as I felt the description showing Siemens VDO was deceptive as well as product specification, and I was Wrong.
