I was very excited when receiving this glass tumbler with infuser today. It is really beautifully made but upon first inspection, I have discovered the tea strainer part was poorly finished... I was trying to take all the components apart to clean before use and have cut my finger tip when handling the metal tea strainer. One area on the top edge rim has a non visible but very sharp nick, and when inspecting further, there is another area with a visible fibre of metal sticking out of the side of the rim like a thorn on a rose stem. I am going to file these two areas down myself and give this product a go as I still believe this will work for me. At the same time, I would like the company who manufactures this product to be aware of this issue and hope they can improve as I have been thinking of purchasing more as gifts for friends and family.

It arrived undamaged (despite being delivered to the wrong address - thanks, Amazon driver!) but unfortunately the glass cracked on first use. I poured freshly-boiled water in to make tea, and about ten seconds later heard the tell-tale clink of cracking glass. A crack had appeared near the lid, going about halfway round the top of the bottle. I'd followed instructions for use, i.e. the bottle was at room temperature, no sudden switch from cold to hot, so it should have been fine! So presumably there's been a quality issue with the bottle itself :-(I'm returning via Amazon and meanwhile have placed an order for a second one to replace it as I need a bottle for a trip next week and I'm hoping/assuming this was an unlucky one-off. I love the design and concept of this bottle, so hopefully I will be able to leave a more positive review of the replacement in due course.

This tea tumbler is just what I was looking for. It was delivered quicker than expected and I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived. It was very safely packaged (see pictures) and arrived in a beautifully designed tube. Even though I had ordered it for myself, opening it felt like I had received a really high quality gift.I have used the tumbler for hot loose leaf tea and it also works just as well for a cold refreshing drink to have throughout the day. It’s a nice size and shape to hold, big enough for the drink to last you a while, whist being small enough to take out and about with you. I’ve found that due to the double walled design, even a very hot drink is fine to hold and it also keeps the drink nice and warm.Would make an ideal gift if you wanted to really spoil someone without breaking the bank.

Beautiful product! I got one for Christmas as a gift. Its packaging is lovely and the little note inside is a nice touch. I read the instructions and instantly wanted to use it..I poured hot water into it and it instantly cracked at the top! Which then leaked! I was disappointed so I bought another one thinking It may of been my fault with the hot water being too hot? ..the second one arrived and after a few uses I was impressed. I am however disappointed to see the metal on the lid has come away! I dont know if the glue has come away but it's a shame as if none of this had happened I'd of given 5 stars for it all. For such a beautiful product its Shame it's so badly made. I won't be ordering another one!

Absolulety stunning design all around, but it doesn't keep tea hot as long as other products I've used -- not a major issue, but if your biggest need is something that keeps tea hot for several hours, this isn't the product for you. The strainer has quite rough edges that cut me the first time I used it. You also have to stand it upside down otherwise it'll wobble all over the place.Still, I have no regrets. This would make an incredible gift for any tea enthusiast, and it's extremely handy when you need to prepare loose leaf tea quickly. Even when (rarely) not in use, it looks gorgeous as an ornament!
