Not for
I would not depend on this as a primary line to hold my 25' cruiser (1/2" line is should adequately hold a 35'er), but it will hang large fenders very well. The yarn is not tightly woven and the strands not tightly twisted, resulting in a more flimsy, light duty line. However, the cost was reasonable for what I received.

5' Short
While this is not a great quality rope I believe the price reflects that. I got what I expected. What I didn't expect is that the advertised length of 100' was short by a little over 5 '. Even taking into account the length lost to the splicing of the thimble the cut length of the rope was a couple of inches over 94'.

Definitely not nylon
Rope definitely not nylon I bought 1/2 x 300 and within the first year I had to cut off any rope that was exposed to sunlight from my pulpit to anchor locker the rope would break down and chunks could be pulled out the strands like it was cotton rope but the rope melts like nylon every year I cut the rope back now the rope in the locker is looking like it’s getting the same way with strands sticking out all over. I would not use it for a storm rode but for normal fishing and anchoring would be ok just have to keep a close eye on it

I use a lot of line on my various boats and purchased 300' for use on my main anchor line for 22' Bay Boat that weighs around 3800 lbs. I will be in the FL Keys vacationing and it is very easy to bottom fish in 100 - 125' on the reefs. The line is not as tightly twisted as the major brands and seems "soft" in the hand which probably indicates that it will not fair as well over the long-term. It is a good value for my occasional use with anchoring in deeper water. I would not be comfortable using this line on unattended vessels but again, realistically, I'll probably only use this line 20 or 30 times during my trip.

It kinks, badly. But inexpensive.
I bought this anchor line in 2012. Strong, but half of the line, section by section, unraveled to the point of no return. Funny thing is, it is the unused (my 18 feet Sea Ray only needs about 40 feet of anchor line in the fresh water when anchored) portion of the line that unravels. Don't know why. Too dry? Now I am looking for another anchor line. Most likely a braided line. I was told a 3/8" is sufficient for the size of my boat, but a thicker line is easier on my hand.

Decent rope, but not good for Windlass
I purchsed this rope for a 28 foot Sea Ray since the existing one was only 100 ft long. It's a decent product but too soft for satisfactory operation in a powered Windlass. The first time I used it the rope got stuck in the windlass as I was bringing it in. It would become bound in the rig and wrap around the wheel instead of dropping into the hold. I had to buy another rope from West Marine that isn't as soft and doesn't cease the rig. Probably good for anchoring by hand but I wouldn't want to pull in 300 feet of line manually.

This line unravels way too easy. Very difficult to work with because of the unraveling. I purchased the line to be used as an emergency anchor line for a 17' boat. In an emergency, it will do, but not for daily use in my opinion. Be sure to tape, seal, and keep a strain on the line if you do an eye splice or cut to length. Of course you need to do the same for any twisted line. The thimble on my line was not stainless steel.

OK
How do you review'rope'? It came in a nice box. It was exactly as shown in the picture. It was easy to connect the anchor to it on the ready loop.
