Stopmotion Explosion Stop Motion Animation Kit Software with Full HD 1080P Camera and Book (Windows and OS X)

This software is easy to set up and use. My 10 year old has been using his old tablet to make stop motion videos and this is a huge improvement for him! He is able to easily log on and take higher quality pictures and turn them into film much easier. There are fun sound effects and lots of tips in the book. It came with a CD to download the program but luckily offered an online download too, as the laptop he is using has no CD drive.this just made it even easier! Overall, a great product, well priced for what you get, and very easy to use for my 10 year old!

I think this book is absolutely wonderful. The book gives tons of information on how to make sets, on animating tips, and much, much more.I was, however, disappointed with the program itself. When I bought it I thought that you took the pictures and added effects and everything else directly from stopmotionexplosion. I didn't realize that you had to download another program for that. And it proved to be more frustrating than, say, ikitmovie4. (Note, I am a beginner in the computer world and some may think I'm off the hook or something. I just found it hard, as a beginner, to make proper movies.) So, I think it would be great for someone who knows how to use Windows Movie Maker or another program like that. But if you're a beginner like me, I would suggest something different. I also ended up with a faulty camera which proved to be a problem;l however, they said that they would send me another one and I would like to thank stopmotionexplosion for their excellent customer service.

We bought this for our son's 12th birthday. He loves it! Previously, he was using an app on the iPad, but this has taken his stop motion Lego movies to a whole new level. We especially like the very clear and useful Quick Start Guide which allowed him to be fully operational in less than 30 minutes. The program allows him to incorporate music, sound effects, voiceovers, introductions, credits, and of course stop motion videos...and all in one very friendly user interface. The book has tons of illustrations and step-by-step instructions making it a great fit for the beginner and a useful tool for the more advanced. The book is also laid out in a very clear and logical manner so it's easy to navigate the pages to find what you're looking for without wasting time thumbing through hundreds of pages. This was a clear WIN for his birthday and is providing the exact tool he needed to take his fledgling movie producer career to the next level! Thanks!!!!

Didn't wow my son but he definitely like making videos with it. It take a few tries to get the disc to worm properly in Apple computers but works perfect in hp computer first try. The camera quality is ok but for $60 its great for beginners.

I purchased for my nephew’s birthday and within a few days he tells me the camera won’t focus. Some research on his end and he finds out that if you twist too hard, it breaks. He isn’t a rough kid and takes care of his electronics so that makes me think the product is flimsy. Complete waste of money.
