Does it remove makeup (eye makeup)?

It removes my makeup perfectly, rinses off nicely, leaves no residue on the washcloth and leaves face feeling very clean. A caveat though: I use the Honey Girl face cream for sensitive skin, the Jane Iredale Amazing Base loose powder, J.I. powder blush and non-waterproof mascara- all lightweight stuff. This cleanser may not work the same with cream based makeup. Initially had tried the original facial cleanser and makeup remover and didn't like it at all, so was pleased to see this foam cleaner come on the market. The only negative is it's expensive to use. My container lasted exactly one month, using a.m. and p.m. But I love it, so will justify expense (somewhat) by economizing and just using in p.m.

Does it help clear breakouts?

It does. Since it is not drying and is very gentle it isn't an instant fix. With continued use it stops the recurrence of them.

Is this face wash cream or foam based?

Hi, it’s a cream/liquid face wash not a foam. It does make your face soft and helped clear up a rash I had on my chin along with the cream.
