Under performs
With the specs on this thing you'd think it would be blazing fast. However, when set to full 1080 it is not able to smoothing play a streamed HD video off my media storage. My Roku can with no problem. I can do it when set at 720. Also, it won't play HD off of apps like google play movies or Vudu. I guess this is considered a rooted or custom build of Android so some apps won't stream HD to it. Also it connects to my network at a much slower speed then my other Android devices. I was expecting much more from this device, I feel like I should have bought a second Roku HD.

Been using this for about 2 months now. Had to kingo root the device. Some applications said it had root, but clearly, the device didn't. I keep it plugged in to a surge protector and leave it on 24/7. Use DroidMote to connect and control it. Makes for a cheap upgrade for an older TV.

Not as advertised
It wasn't quite as advertised. It was supposed to have Jellybean installed and it had Kit Kit installed instead which is more difficult to root. Benchmarks show it running at 1.4GHz instead of the advertised 1.6 - 1.8. The WIFI connection rate is only connecting at max 802.11g when it was advertised 802.11b/g/n. It isn't even detecting signals in the "n" frequency range. The advertiser also claims it has Adobe Flash 11 installed, and it does not. It is not a bad little device, but the seller was less than honest in the ad. I won't be purchasing from this seller again. I believe it is of highest importance to be honest with your customers.

Had couple other android sticks and this one has the strongest wifi reception by far. The processor is fast and responsive. No problem at all~

not good for streaming 480p 710p or 1080p video.
I bought this expecting to be able to stream some videos, all video streaming drops frames and is sluggish. Its a really great idea but I think I need to go with another option.

3 yrs old and still working!
Purchased 3 yrs ago and I am still using. Android 4.4.2 limitations on Google Play, so must install some apps via web (Hulu)
