Smartish iPhone 12/12 Pro Slim Case - Gripmunk [Lightweight + Protective] Thin Drop Tested Cover Compatible with Apple iPhone 12 & 12 Pro - Black Tie Affair

I really liked this phone case however, I returned it because I didn't like the color. I'm not a Blue fan, otherwise it's a very nice case. Lightweight, sturdy but flexible, and fits the iPhone 12 nicely. I wanted it in the Purple Reign color, but it's not available anymore - not even on the Smartish website : ( So I bought another brand with the color I prefer and I'm still deciding if I like it enough to keep. The Gripmunk is good and I would recommend.

My prior iPhone case had developed a corner crack and was attractive but increasingly too slippery for my aging hands, thus the replacement. This one really IS grippy, and I already feel like the phone is better protected - especially from myself! I would have liked more color/pattern choices, but I'm covering a 12 Pro and function was much more important than appearance. It was delivered quickly and is a good value for my $ especially considering all the protection I'm getting...and without additional weight like other protective cases I saw on my search. Thanks!

Case is really nice. Works well with my wireless charger, is comfortable to hold and handle and protects the phone. I’ve dropped the phone a few times, basically table height drops, and the phone hasn’t gotten a scratch and (fortunately) still works!

After sampling about 10 cases so far for the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and searching primarily for a case that won’t fly out of my hand too easily, this one from Smartish does the job pretty well.Its got raised edges for the Front Screen and for the rear Camera lenses - the front raise seems sufficient even with the tempered glass in place but I would’ve like to see more of a raise for the camera area since I installed a protective glass there as well and even though I swapped the first one I used for a thinner, metal-frame one, the glass lens protector sits flush with the raised plastic bevel of the case. Not ideal.The one-piece case itself is sturdy enough, feels like it will provide enough drop-protection without adding excesss bulk. The buttons are a little stiff to me. ’s leather case could provide a lesson here as it uses metal buttons suspended in a thin, flexible material - really nice to find in the hand and operate with satisfying clicks. Of course, that case costs $60 and isn’t one I would use as my daily driver - I’m a service technician and constantly using my phone, often with dirty hands and in spots with severe drop potential.The “rhino-skin” finish all-around and very slight finger-grip indentations on the sides give this case it’s decent grippiness. The rear panel has a very slight texture which should be more pronounced imho.All in all, I won’t say my search is over but I’m keeping this case on my phone until I find better, which I think is out there somewhere...

I love this case and this company. Great products, great marketing, and you know what else is great? Their English. It's refreshing to buy from an American company. I won't buy phone cases and screen protectors from anyone else - not just because they are based in Texas, but also because they truly have great products, yet still at great prices. They are doing it right. I had a case from them on my last phone for years and it held up like a champ. Was like the day I bought it two years later when I got a new phone, and I put my phones through quite a bit. It was a no-brainer that I was buying from smartish again. Love the grip - it just feels good in your hands and I'm sure the extra grippy sides have saved my phone from many a drop. It fits the phone like a glove and has just the perfect amount of raised edges for protection without adding bulk. The buttons all press easily and naturally. This one even has an ever so slight waviness to the sides that I didn't even notice for awhile that make it even that much more comfortable to hold and also not go flying when your juggling your keys and three bags of groceries and your wife calls...because you are a good husband and always answer your wife's calls no matter what.I went from a home button phone to no home button, and I found that certain gestures were near impossible to do one handed. With the grip on this case it makes it a LOT easier - particularly that pesky drag from the top right to get to control center on the bigger iPhones.It's getting harder and harder to find quality products and quality companies that reinforce the long lost concept of brand loyalty, especially (please don't cancel my review for this) on Amzn. Way to go smartish, keep up the great work.

Matte black beauty. Lightweight. Fits snuggly to my phone. Durable and well made. Right amount of grip with all-around protection. Stays flat on the table when laid front or back; no wobbles at all.Edit 1: I noticed a slit/crack at the side of the buttons. Requested for a replacement item.Edit 2: I got the replacement yesterday.
